First time trying YUN! Delicious high quality food with ingredients picked by chef Joe himself. He says he consumes the same food as his customers, so he deeply cares about the taste and experience. We were fortunate to have him as our server when we visited! Very clean establishment with a couple of tables. I appreciated the ability to customize the spice to our liking. We ordered Kimchi (no msg/made in house), steaming pork dumplings (handmade/fresh), perfectly cooked white rice and the Japanese curry dish that was comparable to super authentic restaurants we used to frequent when we lived in Southern California, There are a lot of high end and casual Asian restaurants in Orange County. This is his hobby/passion and we really enjoyed learning about his fascinating, and extensive background in the Arts. Amazing and personal dining experience. One-man chef and waitstaff is attentive and honest. From entering and being greeted with four other patrons eating to being the last ones out the door that night, Joe was very considerate and eager to talk about what he had to offer, explaining the value of his hand-picked ingredients and what all each dish comes with to ensure there's no surprises or disagreements. My sister, a fussy type who usually ignores veggies in rice bowls, admitted to actively searching for all the different added veggies to enjoy in her meal. Meals take their time to get made but you can literally hear Joe in the back working the wok grills as you wait, and they come out as they're done. Easily the best udon bowl I've ever had, as well as amazing chicken wontons and shrimp spring rolls. Will definitely be going back in the future. Do NOT get takeout or delivery for this place - you have to take your first bite as it's still steaming and fresh. But even if you do? Reheated rice bowls the next day make me yearn to go back just to have it...

Last night, I experienced something new, an extra-ordinary meal from an unexpected source. Special request was fish soup. It was of exquisite flavor when added with vegetables, shrimp, and a touch of seaweed. It was perfect, the natural flavor of the tender flounder fish soup, the vegetables all intermingled giving a very flavorful delightful taste.

Real Chinese food definitely top of the line. It was probably one of the best ever tasted. Food tasted fresh, plenty of vegetables, and naturally sourced food the overall taste was delicious. Best veggie roll I have ever tasted. This place is a hidden gem I’m glad we finally have one in town without having to travel to another city. I appreciate the restaurant using recycle-able materials instead of styrofoam plates like majority of other restaurants. Keep up...
