For the price ($11.99 per person for lunch) the food was alright quality and the service was alright.
My father and I dined in for lunch.
When we had come in, most of the tables were empty and the front door was propped open. The first thing I noticed was how warm it was in the building. They seemed to have working AC, I just think the heat from outside was pushing in. Other than that, the atmosphere was fine. It looks as though they did renovations not too long ago as the place looked mostly new. They had coin-based temporary tattoo and sticker machines as well as a crane game which you don't see very often anymore. I did not personally play with either machine. They also had signs educating people on the heimlich maneuver as well as requesting parents not to let children under the age of 10 to get their own food for their safety. Overall the atmosphere was alright.
As for the wait staff, they were also just alright. Our waiter was attentive, refilling our drinks when needed and taking plates but he was not very talkative but that was fine. The majority of the time the staff could be seen sitting and talking near the register. When it was time to ring out, the lady at the counter was talking very loudly on the phone. She was not at all friendly and even looked annoyed when we asked for a pen. (The pens were right in front of us, to be fair, but they were disguised as flowers and we didn't see them right away) I will say, I did think it was interesting that they had a takeout option as that is not something I see at buffets very often. Only one customer came in to use said service when we were visiting.
The food was also just alright. There was plenty of variety in the sushi, and the sushi was one of the tastier things we ate. The Krab Rangoon and Egg Custard Buns ("Yellow Milk Buns") were also quite good. I was not impressed with the general tsos chicken, as the chicken was dry and the sauce was very liquid-y. My father has the coconut shrimp and he said it was not very good either. The fresh string beans were good. I will note there was a bit of a labeling issue with a handful of food items, but it mostly appeared that they misplaced items when putting them out. (For example, the buns appeared to have been swapped when they were put out) Neither of us tried any of the desserts, but they did look good.
Overall, the food and service were not terrible. I don't think I will personally be recommending the place, but it's great in a pinch and there's a lot more options than some of the other...
Read moreDo not come here and if you do be prepared to leave feeling sick, make sure you check your receipts because the price is a lie. The food was horrible I couldn't even finish one plate because I started to feel sick. They lied on the price it was supposed to be 15.99 per adult bit at the front they have a white paper with 17.99 covering the 15.99 price. When we voiced our concerns the lady at the front i believe was the owner or the wife was very ignorant she kept talking on her phone with the earphones in and when we mentioned the price we were charged she rolled her eyes then started talking to whomever was on the phone I don't need to know their language to know she was talking bad about us. The restaurant itself was in poor condition the roof had several leaking spots, one spot looked like it was about ready to fall down. Another was already missing a piece. The food looked and tasted like it has been out for hours. It was overcooked, some was undercooked.. This is a hibachi buffet, and yet they closed the hibachi part after people started coming in, even when it was open. The person was not paying attention to the food. There was barely any meat. All the toppings were pretty much empty. The buffet part, the food was disgusting. The desserts were stale. I do not recommend coming here. If anything, I highly recommend code enforcement, visiting there and shutting it down. This place is nothing but a joke that rips you off. Definitely check your recipes because they over charge and try to get away with it. We were looking for a good place to celebrate we drove 45 minutes to try this place instead, we paid more than what we should have and left feeling sick. Whatever you do, do not waste your time here or your money. Unless you want the most horrible...
Read moreWe received a flyer in the mail the other day from Largo Hibachi Grill on Missouri (New Owners) so we went there on February 14, 2025 we got there 4:30 pm and left about 5:15 pm. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! Right next to our booth was a broom and dust pan, as soon as we sat down i noticed there was hardened food or something on the dirty napkin holder, the walls were thilthy, then when our waitress brought our ice tea the clear plastic glasses had what look like a white nasty film all around the inside of the glasses. So I showed it to her, I even scrapped some of it with my nail so she came back with 2 medium Styrofoam cups filled with our ice tea that had plastic lids on them, so then I thought gee, maybe she couldn't find any clean ones!! So I went up to get a plate the plates which are stacked upside down, I picked one up and there was soggy food on it. I quess the dish washer may have been over loaded, so I put it to the side and I took another one. The food was just warm not hot at all. I sat down to eat with my husband, and started to eat the honey chicken!! I had to spit it out in my napkin because it had that taste of chicken gone bad!!! So the rest of the time i just ate vegetables green beans, broccoli mushroom, rice, spring roll. By that time my husband had to use the mens room, when he came back he said he didn't want to use it because there was water everywhere on the floor even the bathroom stalls!!! My question is who is actually inspecting these restaurants?? Hummmm... something to...
