Beware, the waitress decides her own tip and adds it to the card without telling you. This wasn’t a large party where you might think gratuity would be added, it was just two of us. The waitress added a large tip when she ran our credit card. When we realized the final amount was quite a bit more than expected, we asked her if she added a tip to the amount. She admitted she had. But the amount she said she added still didn’t make sense. She had added even more than she admitted to. But since she made sure to throw away the itemized receipt and only give us the “final total” receipt she thought we wouldn’t notice. That’s stealing. Even when other restaurants add gratuity for large parties they tell you up front and they tell you the exact percentage, they don’t just leave it up to the wait staff decide for themselves how much they want. I honestly wish I could give a zero star rating😵 The waitress told us while ordering they were out of chicken since some of our party wanted chicken fajitas. This was fine as they just switched to steak fajitas. After waiting over 30 minutes we were told our appetizer of the queso could not be made as they were out of chips. That was fine as our food should have arrived shortly after. The two orders of steak fajitas came and were just shredded meat with a side of fries. When we asked what was going on that isn't what was ordered the waitress said they were out. I was disappointed with my recent experience at this establishment. I ordered a few tacos (5) and a torta, and while the food was decent, I was shocked to see that my bill came out to be $61.00 Even more surprising was the fact that when i asked the waitress to see my ticket, I noticed the math did not add up (my food total was $45 but the bill was $61) she had taken the liberty to add a 36% tip to my bill without notifying me. It's one thing to include a tip automatically for larger parties, but for a small individual order of 2 people, it was unnecessary and made me feel taken advantage of.
