Quick service. Salad bowl with chicken is my go to. Always delicious.
Update: 8/9/22 I sure do love my salads with chicken/steak that I order but seems like every time I go there is something going on. The manager is always there but yet the employees aren't all that friendly, they are usually out of fajitas and if they do have them, they look old and disgusting. The portions of meat they give is so minimal it really is ridiculous! They don't drain any of the beans or mild salsa so if you do not ask for it to be drained, you will get a ton of juice in your meal. Nasty. There have been times where customers coming in have been turned away because they were only fulfilling online orders. HUH??!! I keep going because it's a good low carb meal but wow.
12/15 Update: Dang, It just doesn't get better at all after so many years. I came here and ordered a salad with steak. They put the smallest amount of meat on the salad as possible (even with orderign double) Guacamole was turning brown. Fajitas looked soggy. I went with someone else and she got the bowl with pulled pork. Again, smallest serving ever! Even the amount of pinto beans was small. She ordered the queso which is like $2.50 extra. Completely drenched the pulled pork with the spoonful of queso they put (that's how little meat there was) . Literally , her whole "bowl" was the size I would feed a 2 year old child. For the price these entrees are I would expect a good portion. $25 later, not satisfied.
2/6/24: Stopped by for dinner on 2/6. I ordered the chicken salad bowl which was good. My husband however, had ordered the bowl with Barbacoa and he had asked for steak but since they were out, the girl had turned around to check on status of the steak. She turned back to us and my husband then said I will just get the carnitas. Double meat! We get to the checkout and the cashier says triple meat. We said no it is just double, Barbacoa and Carnitas. The 2 girls (one including the girl who did our order) literally opened back up the container and poked around in it to prove what meats are in there! Really?!?!? So rude. That was such a turn off. I have continuously given this place times to redeem themselves but they just get worse. I think last night might of been the last time...

Of course there's always a chance to get food poisoning from anything; however with Chipotle's food poisoning allegations (circa 2015), I was and still am skeptical of any Chipotle I visit. On one very unlucky February 27th, 2022 after ordering my usual -- steak, sour cream, and white rice bowl -- I woke up late in the night to pure liquid excrement and nonstop vomiting for nearly 5 hours. Don't get me wrong, Chipotle's service, quality of food, and the general atmosphere here in Las Cruces was all right, but it's when I got sick a couple hours later that I grew suspicious. Nothing seemed off about the food -- with the exception of the steak... the centre seemed a little too red. On the other hand, the way this Chipotle replaces their old ingredients with new ones (the silver trays containing ingredients) is oddly unsanitary with the precipitation from the bottom of the old tray dripping onto the newly cooked food. Gross!
TLDR: Indeed, this review was written more than a year later from when I was food poisoned; however, I found it pertinent to inform anyone and everyone to be cautious. Not to avoid it entirely, just be careful, y'all. I personally wouldn't recommend this Chipotle, but don't let me keep you from...
Read moreIt has been multiple bad experience with this locations. The management is awful. I never had any problem with any other location but the Las Cruces. They overcharge, mislead the prices and rude to respond to your concern. I love Chipotle so I keep going back every few months and leave telling myself never again. The other day my salad came to more than $15. Apparently the meat I chose was different price which wasn’t on their menu. I said they should let the customer know when ordering. They had a sign in front of where you talk to the employee of what you want exactly where you are distracted to see a any sign if it is not covered by the person ordering in front of you. When I asked for the manager, she (kania) said she is the manager. I said I am willing to pay the highest price on the menu for my salad since this was not advertised clearly. She said to pay the full amount or go to the end of the line after 32 people and order one from the menu. After 15 minutes of standing there I was willing to take my business somewhere else. The difference was maybe three dollars but the lack of compassion and running a business correctly...
