Upon my first visit to this restaurant, I must admit my expectations were low. Despite having called ahead to place my order, I was taken aback to find that my food wasn’t ready upon my arrival, especially considering the restaurant was nearly deserted. The 20-minute drive left me wondering about the delay. However, my skepticism began to fade when I discovered that my order was not only accurate but remarkably fresh, sparking a glimmer of hope as I prepared to dive into the culinary experience. Let’s start with the asada fries. Unfortunately, these were just average. The steak was decent, but the fries fell flat, desperately lacking seasoning. A simple sprinkle of salt and pepper would have made a world of difference. Additionally, the onions could have benefited from a softer texture, ideally achieved through dicing them more or sautéing. Overall, I’d rate the asada fries a modest 3 out of 5. Now, let’s talk about the true highlight of this meal: the birria tacos. These were nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first bite, I was hit with an explosion of flavor that genuinely surprised me, especially given the typical shortcomings of similar establishments in the area. In fact, the tacos were so delectable that I could hardly resist finishing the first one before even considering dipping it in the consomme. When I finally did take that plunge, the consomme only intensified the flavors, transforming each bite into a delightful experience. The consomme itself was amazing, and sparked delightful visions of birria ramen. Initially, I hadn’t planned...on returning, but the birria tacos and their accompanying consomme have certainly changed my mind. I wholeheartedly give them a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend you give them a try. This hidden gem is worth the visit, and I can't wait to return for more. PS: There is no photo of the birria tacos because I was so busy enjoying them that I forgot to take one.

Wow just amazing! The first time I came they didn't have birria I got upset and left. I really shouldn't have. Well I finally got some and some asada fries. The beans and rice were amazing maybe the best combo I've had (the rice was just a hair too salty but I mixed my rice and beans and it evened out) the biria is probably the best in town the dip was spicy but couldn't stop dippin, the asada fries not so much they were amazing but I'm not sure which spice is used on the meat but it's something I didn't enjoy but my gf did. Definitely give these people a Chance!

So disappointed!..from the time we walked in. Where do I start?..it was our first time here,,walked in and there was no customers. I was actually happy cause I thought we would get top notch service. Well, far from it. When we sat down ,,the cook and the order taker we were sitting down as well. Thought we were going to be approached so they could take our order. There was not a word spoken by no one. I eventually got the hint that we need to order at the window. Got there 2 for 20 special. An order of birria tacos and birria ramen. Well,we got our order! OMG!!! They literally put a whole square of 25 cent ramen in the bowel! with beyond HOT juice from the birria.. obviously assuming it would cook the noodles. I didn't even get a spoon. The soup literally tasted like chili beans in a can with half a dry little lime. At this point the Service and the Food 👎.The atmosphere was just as bad,, heavy metal music in a Spanish restaurant. ?? I'll just stop here. Unfortunately they lost...

Upon my second visit, & lunch meal experience there, earlier today, I chose to order one of their burgers, with green Chiles, & cheese combo meal, served with french fries, & a beverage. This burger I received was definitely one of the very best burgers, with a Mexican flair/flavor, I have ever eaten. The portion of this burger, also, was a very generous size burger. The fries were very good, too; hot & fresh, & flavorful. Only one issue, I had was that when I requested ketchup, to go on the side of the plate, along with my fries, much to my dismay, the hostess informed me they were fresh out, of it. Overall, a very delicious luncheon meal, even without the ketchup. Kudos to Los Corrales! Keep up the great...
