Los Mariachis — Restaurant in Las Cruces

The waitress killed the entire meal. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates her job but she was very rude. We must have asked for refills about 6 times because she kept ignoring us and when she finally did refill our drinks she switched mine and my husband's so we had mixed sodas. She never bothered to refill my son's cup once. She never brought us more chips and salsa, an extra plate for my son, or any napkins as we asked her. I was honestly trying to avoid her by the end of the meal because her attitude was so bad. Then we pay and she stands there watching for a tip amount and yanked the machine away when I hit the wrong button....

I went here in mid afternoon after doing some business across the street at the County Building. I had heard for some time that the food was really good here. My visit lived up to that claim. I had the flautas special. I don't really care for flautas because they're hard with almost no filling. But the waitress enthusiastically told me that theirs were different. They were. Round with just the right degree of hardness on the outside and meaty inside, it was a delicious, filling and reasonably priced meal. The service was excellent. The manager, Corine, not sure correctly if this was her name. She attempted to humiliate my mother by speaking loudly while she was assisting my grandmother in the restroom. Given my grandmother's dementia diagnosis and complete dependence on caregivers, we found the manager's approach to be insensitive and unhelpful. Instead of offering support and understanding, the manager chose to berate my mother, disregarding the challenges we face in caring for my grandmother. We believe she handle the situation irresponsibly and will no longer be coming back to this...
