I used to work for PJ. I’ve always had a poor experience w/this store. Once, I ordered 32 wings & 4 buffalo sauce cups. The female deliverer handed me my food w/o opening up to show me & verify my receipt. This is against training we have as an employee of PJ's. You must read the receipt & show your customer that the food is all there & in the quality you expect. So I walk inside to make sure my sauce is correct. I run out telling her she gave me ranch. Instead of providing the proper customer service she is expected to, she argues it's on the receipt. I ran back in to grab my receipt & knocked on her window showing her that I had requested for 4 buffalo sauce. Now understand that PJ is supposed to leave the food w/you if they are at fault. She asked me to return my ranch cups & wait for her to deliver 2 more deliveries before I can receive my 4 buffalo sauce. The next time I ordered & had food delivered to work, it was the same female. She showed up 49 minutes after my order was confirmed online. Once again, not going through proper steps of showing me my pizza, she was about to run off. I told her to wait as I open my box of pizza. I would’ve had to eat a sloppy, folded, messed up pizza if I had not done so. She calls her store to remake my pizza. Now when you mess up like that, the protocol is you tell your customer to keep the pizza & you will remake & redeliver. She again failed to deliver PJ's excellence standard of customer service & took the pizza w/her. I'm starting to question if she does this on purpose: not showing food to customers to avoid these mistakes being blamed on her lack of professional standards/service. Or if it's that she does it on purpose for free food for herself. So now instead of 30-40 minutes wait for my food, by the time the second pizza was delivered to me perfectly, it has taken me 70 minutes to wait to eat lunch. I could not enjoy my lunch as I wasted 7 more minutes to call back the location & complain, leaving me 13 minutes to swallow what I can before my work meeting. Now, I called them & complain to one of their male managers about this & he says the next time I order the same exact pizza, PJ will give it to me "quality guarantee" free of charge. This occurred May 11th. So fast forward into June I make the order and said that's what happened and their Burgundy or whatever female store manager provided the worst customer service. I'm starting to think PJ no longer tries to hire the best people to represent them, hence the quality of food and service have gone down so much. Burgundy says she does not see it in her system. I told her the whole story of what happened and she starts saying "I see here that it was clocked out at the time....and clocked back in at this time...". Okay Burgundy, I'm not talking about what time the person clocked in & out of your system because remade pizza would not show up on your system! You guys don't have a way to track orders that had to be remade so how would you know how much longer I had to wait for my food??? I would not call & waste my time telling you what happened & what was promised & what I expect when I can just order food from another restaurant that can deliver to me. She failed as a manager because any other managers at any other locations would understand this is not how Papa John himself would handle the situation (referring to training videos). So the only other step I can take is their feedback on their Corp site. That's what I did. And of course, still no response or further action. So let me go ahead & warn the public to not expect much from this location. If you really want delicious, quality pizza then I suggest you stay away from pizza deliveries in Las Cruces. She works in customer service and the way she spoke to me was ghetto and rude. I have worked in customer service for years and I would never.
I asked to speak with the manager and a Spencer was placed on the line, after I told him what had happened he did not understand what I was saying and did not try to assist me at all. We orders a pizza at 10:20 and did not receive it till 12:20. We called at 11:30 to ask the status Melissa or Melanie stated she didn’t know how soon it could be here.... maybe 20 minutes ( rudely ) so we hung up I called back at 12:10 and then spoke to Melanie she was EXTREMELY RUDE and said she didn’t have an order for us and they do not deliver here and then put Spencer on the phone the manager. After I hung up the phone the pizza showed up at the door we asked him who the manager was he stated it was Melanie.
Papa Johns I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude but you should screen your employees, customer service is everything especially in the restaurant industry, if they can act like that it makes me question a lot of how well the store is being taken care of!

Jasmine is the store manager of this location and stated to me that as a store manager she could do nothing for me when she made the executive decision to have chosen to send my order via DoorDash, which was specifically NOT an option I selected— She also admitted to having many issues w DoorDash drivers picking up customer’s orders and keeping them for themselves, while customer’s never receive their orders. This is absolutely unacceptable and 100% avoidable by having their delivery drivers simply deliver the orders just as customers select! Jasmine laughed at mine and my family’s concern and disapproval w this, as if it were a laughing matter, and offered no assistance other than refunding my order, which is clearly Not what we wanted, having chosen this pizza store for a reason!? And let me just say, this has happened one other time to my family several months ago, and we just thought to give them another chance. Clearly, this was a mistake and we will no longer order from this restaurant again. This store manager could NOT be more unprofessional!
