Roadrunner Pizza — Restaurant in Las Cruces

EDIT: I just did a side by side of road runner pizza and NYP slice on Rinconada, and while NYP is decent, I will never eat there again so long as road runner is open. Hands down road Runner is my number 1 pizza place in las cruces. Still not a fan of clover though.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Easily in the top 3 for my favorite pizza in Las Cruces. Sauce has a good flavor. The crust is seasoned just right. Toppings appear fresh and were used at a perfect amount to balance the mix. One thing I look out for with pizza in New Mexico is the green chile. It could have been hotter for my taste. However, there was plenty added to the pizza, and it had the great flavor I expect from a New Mexico business. This pizza is at a good price point to make it a usual order. I would like a little crispier bottom of the crust and will be requesting a very slight more cooking time for my next order.

The guy working the counter (reciept says Dennis) was very prompt and polite.

I had to use Clover to order online, and I'm not really fond of it. For delivery, they use a different online service, and it seemed complicated as well. Of course, there are all the usual delivery apps and slice, but they all raise the prices to high compared to clover or direct with the store.

I will definitely be a usual customer at road...

We’ve only ordered delivery, never dined in. The ordering off of any of the platforms for this place is pretty odd (uber eats-via Instacart, and doordash), because it doesn’t allow you to order the specific pizza you would like, only “delivery special” without an option to choose which specialty pizza you want. However, I was able to call the store and spoke to Miles who went above and beyond to handle my order and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I ended up ordering two specialty pizzas yesterday, and they were so good we ended up ordering two more today, and we have Miles to thank for that again. You’re awesome, Miles! On the receipts for both yesterday and today we also saw our server is Dennis and we want to thank him too for the high quality ‘za. This is officially our favorite pizza place in town and we could not recommend it enough! Again, we’ve only ordered delivery. Never dined in. Thank you...

I've never been there but just ordered for delivery the old fashioned way, which is a huge plus. For the young and/or uninitiated, that involves using the lonely PHONE app on your phone, making a call, and actually speaking to another human. Imagine that! 😉 This human answered and took my order, then charged me for the food only, with a request that I tip the DRIVER WHO WORKS FOR THEM! So I got to pay cash and get exactly what I ordered. No service fee, no delivery fee, no middle name fee... hahaha! And it's super yummy! My new pizza spot from now on!

UPDATE: it's been ages since I'd ordered bc money but today I got one of their enormous calzones, stuffed generously with cheese and my favorite filling, triple mushrooms, and they did not disappoint! I said, that's two meals easy, but as I finished the last delicious bite I wondered...
