Update 3: I bought the moist brisket again. I requested no hard or dried out areas on it and they happily complied with my request. So it was SCRUMPTIOUS again. I love the great attitudes of the servers. 🥰
Update 2: Rudy's called me and worked hard to rectify the brisket issue. I did not accept their offer, as I wasn't trying to score anything...their food and service were/are always outstanding. We will be back...and they will make sure everyone working the carving area removes overcooked or dried out brisket. I have every reason to believe them. Thank you.
Update 1: Last two times I've order the moist beef brisket, it has hard and dried out areas on it, so I can no longer suggest it. I lose about 1/4 of my order because it's overcooked on the outside. I won't order it anymore. The turkey and chicken were both very moist and flavorful.
Delicious BBQ! The young lady at the register did a wonderful job explaining to me how this works, as it was my first visit. We loved the turkey and baked potatoes.
Extra points for having the thin blue line, thin red line, and thin green line flags proudly displayed. Go USA! God bless and keep our protectors and Rudy's BBQ.
And it was sweet to see the Texas and NM flags, too. Great country and family atmosphere.

Read moreDisappointed. Read reviews and was looking forward to the delivery. Driver was nice and all the extras like straw, salt, pepper and extra butter were there. For what we paid we were shocked that it arrived in one small bag. Look, we understand prices go up but when finished eating we ordered a pizza. Guess we should have done that instead. The ribs were 4 little ones with no sauce. The chicken was cut up (the leg was only slightly bigger then my thumb) and was so dry! They were spicey but I was hoping for bbq. Hence the name of the place. The new potatoes were swimming in butter and were mushy. The peach cobbler was warm but tasted bland and chalky. The corn on the cob was a good size, on a strick which helped a lot. However, being a farm kid, I know when corn on the cob is soaked to long in water. But the Xtra butter and lots of salt and pepper saved it. Look guys we know that we could probably have gotten a better meal if we were to come into the dining room. We paid over $10 for delivery and fees (+ we always tip well and added another $10). We know it was less then a 10 minute drive...... anyway, we won't order again. Next time we'll go the pizza route. Or maybe trying one of several similar restaurants in the area. It would actually have been cheaper and...

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - majority of the protein starts at 1/2 pound and you can order more. There is an original and a “sissy” sauce (though the original isn’t that spicy). They offer white and wheat bread slices complimentary with the order.
We ordered brisket and pork ribs and both were absolutely delicious! The pork ribs had a pepper based rib on in that was so well marinated that the flavor goes completely through the protein. It was so tender but still had such a good bite. We did debate between the moist and regular brisket and just decided to go with regular. It had a bit of marbling in it so it was still tender and flavored so well. We got an edge piece which was on the saltier side but we did enjoy the smokey flavor
Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. Huge space with lots of tables and benches to eat at. Self serve bar with some sides, utensils, and more sauces
Service: 5/5 - super friendly and when she found out it was our first time there, she gave us the rundown of how everything worked. she was happy to give us recommendations and what she sees ordered more often
Value for price: 5/5 - quick and very friendly service, delicious food, and...
