Would rate this place 0 stars if I could. It was my first experience in a Greek restaurant, as I entered the establishment I was looking around at the decor and noticed the staff staring at me very rudely, as I sat down they continued to stare at me and converse between each other as if they were gossiping, after we were served our drinks, the daughter of the establishment publicly asked me why I was checking out the place and “noticed I was looking around for cameras.” She then accused me in front of everyone dining and said that I was checking out the restaurant to potentially “rob the store”. I was discriminated against by this business because of how I dress and look, because “They have been robbed before by people that looked like us and of my age group”, as I had enough of being publicly embarrassed, my friends and I, still remaining polite and respectful, asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave, I was then harassed by the business owner asking what our reason was for leaving as if we had to stay. Over all this is the WORST customer service I...
Read moreThis place isn't great. They get good reviews on greek food because nobody else serves greek food around las cruces. First time we went i ordered a gyro without onions. My husband and mothers food came out but not mine. Waitress told me it would be another minute even though i knew they'd forgotten mine. 17 minutes later my dinner came out. My husband was done eating and my mom was on her last two bites. No apologies. Mine wasnt good. Chicken wasnt seasoned like my moms was, due to them trying to throw mine together im sure. My husband suggested we try it again, so second time they ordered pizza. Mom wanted garlic on half. When it came out she bit into it and it was two full cloves in her mouth. And they were raw. We counted 30 cloves in all. And full cloves. Our waitress never came over and asked how it was, nor did we get refills. We had to ask someone else for drinks. This place is horrible. I guess if you're desperate for greek food it works in a pinch. But i've never been that...
Read moreThe inside of the restaurant was very warm, we had to switch tables because we started out sitting with our backs to the windows- talk about roasting! The mini blinds were broken and would not completely shut. The food is always good, hot and plentiful. One person opted for the pizza. Another for the gyro with potato salad ( huge portion) and I had the spanakopita and a Greek salad. Yum! This is a homemade spanakopita with plenty of spinach and cheese, the filo pastry is crisp and light. The salad had plenty of Feta and dressing.
The restaurant was extremely noisy. There was a large table to my back with college students who did not have a low setting. Between the normal table conversation, the music, which should be background not forefront, and the students, we could not hear each other...
