BYTE Pizza & Chicken — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Let me just say that this place is my new favorite! We had a tiny hiccup with timing on my first trip here because their online ordering system is so new, but the owner TJ went above and beyond to hear what I had to say and make it right. The pizza I could eat every day! The sauce is good and cooked to perfection. The fried chicken is crispy and seasoned well. The salad is great, they use mixed greens which can be scary at times because mixed greens tend to wilt quickly but there was not one bad piece of lettuce in either of my salads. The biscuits seem to be baked fresh in house and are brushed with a light herb butter and baked perfectly, not too dry not too dense. The pepperjack Mac n cheese bites were recommended by TJ and rightfully so, everyone took one bite and eyes were rolling because they were such a pleasant surprise on the tongue. The moist levels and flavor levels were popping, I’ve seen so many people mess up Mac n cheese bites but not this place! And I was pleased to know that the cheesecake is made in house which is rare! This is a family owned and operated business. TJ and his son Keegan were warm, welcoming and accommodating on my second visit. I went to byte, there was a woman trying to help me, but she couldn't speak very well English. She just kept repeating herself. She is nice but not to take orders. She finally got my order, she says that she had to make my pizza. 25 minutes later I got my food. I tried it, it was not good. It tastes like it was frozen pizza. The wings were overcooked, and the fries wasn't cooked. I definitely will not be back unless the other woman comes back. I have been going every week not anymore. i ran into her and she says she doesn't work there. Why would you get rid of her, she is the best cook and she is very good with the customers. When she comes back I will be back. This is my first review, I was a regular customer, I was going there at least twice a week just for her food. The food went way down. It used to Be very good, now it is just barely edible. Just for your information, you will be getting more and more bad reviews if you guys keep serving this kind of food. I placed an order online. I arrived at the time it stated the order would be ready. I opted to go through the drive thru and they asked me at the speaker what my order was as and asked me to pull up. 7 minutes later someone came to the window and had no clue what my order was. I waited about another 18 minutes and pulled around and went inside. I normally don’t trip but this was excessive. The guy was apologetic and was already bringing my order to the front. He offered me a free desert for the wait which calmed me down. I’m a chef so I understand hiccups in the kitchen. I brought the food home and the salad was perfect. The fries were a little over salted but still hot and crisp. The pizza was good for Vegas mom and pop shop pizza.
