The leg came off my glasses almost 2 weeks ago. My first attempt was with a hot glue and that lasted 3 days. Then I used superglue and that lasted for about a week. The last couple of days I was putting it back as it came out which was all the time! It was so embarrassing when it would just fall out when I would talk so I needed to find a permanent solution. I asked around and my sister told me about this place. I thought I was familiar with this area but I guess not! As soon as you drive into the shopping center it is on the right side. On the left of the coffee shop. I walked in and Sam greeted me right away. I told him my issue and he gave me a fair quote on my repair. As I sat down to wait for my glasses to be pick i checked out their frame selection (im always looking for my next pair). They have so many cute brand name frames. They also have a great men's selection. I love their lighted full size mirrors. I helps give an overall expectation of what you look like when trying on frames.. I was there for 5 minutes and Sam was done with my repair and even cleaned my lenses. It was such a...
Read moreGot my glasses at a Walmart in California before I moved here 4 years ago. The right arm fell off on the second day of this virus lock down. 😢 I found a Walmart that was still doing repairs, but since they didn't have my exact frames in stock they couldn't swap my lenses to a different frame. They did give me a flyer for Vistech so I called them and made an appointment for the next day. Arrived a few minutes early and got helped right away. I asked about getting a frame with bigger and more sturdy hinges but he explained that is pretty much the industry standard and didn't have any other frames with better hinges. So I got a pair of new arms and hinge link pieces and they are as good as new again. $70 total. Not a bad deal at all. He also told me they are a family business and they all used to work at Lenscrafters before opening their own shop. They try to keep prices low for people like me who don't have insurance. A+...
Read moreAnother place broke my new glasses when they were adjusting them. Because the frames were my own, I was told there was nothing that could be done for me. I found Vistech online. Oh my! Not only did they fix my glasses, welding the nose piece back on, but they did an amazing job of it. The color of the weld is a perfect match, and even knowing where to look, I struggle to find the spot. Also, whereas the other shop couldn't get the glasses properly adjusted, Vistech knew how the nose pieces should go and they fit at pick up without any further adjustment.
Their frame selection is smallish but highly varied, with a wide selection of sizes and colors, and THEY CUSTOMIZE! I've shied away from plastic frames without nose pieces, but they said they could add a nose piece if needed. No one has ever offered that.
The two gentlemen I've worked with have both been professional, incredibly helpful, and friendly. I highly...
