Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Las Vegas

It was my first time going to Churches and my experience was not great. My wife was so excited for me to try it. There were people begging in the drive through, the cashier was rude, rushed us, and got our order wrong and over charged us an additional $1.50. I have never had a worse drive through experience in my life, even when I worked drive through. We got a tenders meal, the jalapeno poppers, fried okra, a chicken sandwich and a few wraps. They didn't even give us our fries that they recommended to us as a side. The food itself didn't taste right, I feel like it wasn't even in Canes chicken or Chick-fil-a's level, and more on the level of jack in the box or McDonald's chicken. The spicy chicken was just mildly seasoned, the jalapeno poppers were ok, my wife ate them, the wraps felt like the tortillas were sitting out and were rubbery. The fried okra was what I was most excited for and it was middling at best, though good enough for a drive through, and still the best part of the meal for me. The biscuit was good. My wife was nearly in tears that the fries were forgotten, as I didn't have any, I cannot comment on their flavor. My wife who has gone to Churches before said that she's extremely disappointed and that it's not representative of the Churches experience I hope it's just this location and will give a different location another shot because this was so bad I can't imagine how the company survives. I'm extremely disappointed and feel like it was a waste of money.

Update: My wife and I both feel sick now and I've thrown up this food was so bad. The okra was worse than I thought, just the couple hot ones on top were ok, the ones at the bottom made my wife spit up. The spicy chicken wrap was disgusting, the coleslaw made it slimy, my wife spat that up too. My wife is normally easy to please, but this experience was the worst. I'd give negative stars if I could.

Update 2 My wife and I both got really really bad food poisoning in the morning. Great for a colon cleanse, but...

I have been in the hospital for weeks and all I could think about was Church's Chicken while there eating my broth.

Yesterday was the day. And it had such promise.

They allow you to go in and order for take out now. Thank goodness. The cashier was very friendly and it seemed that the entire crew was friendly. I was excited because I was the only one in the lobby.

I ordered the 5 piece leg and thigh special. ORIGINAL. I cannot eat their spicy chicken. As good as Church's Chicken is, their spicy makes me sick for some reason.

You see where this is going.

She filled my ordered and I received my order and she even gave me condiments and napkins without me asking. Wonderful.

Got home and you got it. It was spicy chicken inside. I had waited for weeks and now I can't eat the chicken.

I gave it to my neighbor and I ate the fries. What a good first real food for me.

I called the store and it is a recording. It's ALWAYS a recording. Why have a phone if nobody answers it? I left a message and have yet to hear anything back. I doubt that I will

This USED to be my favorite Church's Chicken in Vegas. No more. This is the third straight time that something is not correct. It started going downhill a few months ago.

And you can't get anybody on the phone and I wasn't going back that late at night and that far. They would have been closed anyway.

God help me. What will I do without my Church's Chicken? I might have to find out.

NEVER COMING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!! Legit it was by far the worst customer service in the history of fast food places!!!! First the lead or manager, whoever this Latin lady was, took my order and didn't give me a receipt. She walked to the back with it and I went to sit while they made my order, so I thought. I come to check 15 mins later and she was in the back on the phone. I figured they thought it was a stolen CC because I was getting food for friends and me, but I was using my friends mom's CC. Anyways, she never asked me if it was not mine or any effort. I asked what was taking so long and the nice worker apologized for the order not being started. So the lady who took my order charged me but never started it so I was there for almost 45 mins waiting for ??? Nothing. At this time I was irate. I am trying to be calm and not make a scene because it was pretty packed but come on, no one else waited more than 10 mins for their orders and here I am almost 45 mins. Anyways, this nice employee filled my order, because by this time it was the lady's lunch break so she didn't bother to do it herself. She apologized again and I really appreciate that and she gave me large drinks as that's all she could give me for my wait.
