This cafe located in the Springs Preserve was such a nice lunch surprise on a Sunday afternoon...
Divine Service & Ambiance: A friendly cashier takes your order and a staff member will deliver your food to the table from the kitchen. The kitchen was great with getting our orders to the table rather quickly. All the staff was so so friendly and greeted you with smiles. Great positive vibes from all the employees we came across. The open dining area has square, round and long rectangular tables take care of all the seating needs indoors and outdoors. Earthy tone colors pastel green and rows of hanging light bulb lights makes for an attractive dining area with a nature vibe. There's a couple of flat screen tvs hanging from the walls as well. The view of the city is amazing and makes for a great social media moment for your followers. =)
Divine Burger + Fries: The burger was prepped well and cooked medium rare as I requested from the kitchen. This was a very tasty cheeseburger that can hold it's own with restaurants much more expensive then this boutique cafe. The seasoned fries were fresh and flavorful. Both items were on the smaller serving side but high on the savory side so I'm good. The coca cola drink station has an endless amount of flavorful soda combinations.
My expectations in any food outlet at a park, theme park, museum, etc is usually pretty low as I understand that the outlet is more of an amenity than anything else. Divine cafe exceeds all those expectations and is a resto I'd consider stopping by whenever I'm on this side of town. There's some items on the menu that I'd like try on the next visit but that's another...
Read moreLemme start off and say the dining area and cafe as a whole were pretty, clean and cozy. There is a nice view of Fremont and a part of the main strip. The staff were friendly too. Now, the food?
I got the breakfast tacos, that’s two breakfast tacos, eggs, cheese, and some potatoes on the side. It was around $11-$13 if I can remember correctly, but my brothas they were the blandest breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. I bite into the taco and I was like, “brother bear did I miss the bite? Did I bite the air?” My brotha I did, in fact, not miss the bite them eggs just had no seasoning. I was like man 🗿. But them potatoes looked pretty scrumptious I won’t hold you, they looked like they had seasoning, but SIKE. I was tricked, bamboozled, and hoodwinked. They were bland.
I also got the tropical smoothie, it was okay. Had a strong taste of banana but it did the job. Overall food is kind of wack, at least that dish was but there’s a wide variety of things to buy and try. So maybe I just ended up with the...
Read moreThis is not a review on the Springs Preserve. The cafe was a disaster, the food we ordered was just bad, the kids got the chicken fingers and tots. The chicken fingers were hard as they looked and felt like they were deep fried more than once also the tots looked and tasted like that as well. The pizza was just as bad and it was served 20 minutes after the kids food. The servers also brought the wrong food to our table twice. We were never offered drink refills. The member discount even though I told the server that we were a member and offered the member number I was told I'll just mark the order you're a member but the check never reflected the member discount. When I pointed it out it took 10 minutes to get a new check which reflected the discount. You must be wondering why I left two stars and not one after this review, the prices are actually reasonable and if the staff wasn't working in such chaos and was trained it would have...
