I thought this might be a decent first visit (even though it's basically a Goodwill Clearance Center without the scale, yuck) because the older gentleman gatekeeper at 11am on Thursday, 7/24, was VERY nice and informative upon entrance, but I was wrong; the bad always trumps the good. The bald/shaved head, tan guy gatekeeping the grey section who was radioing the older gentleman up front on that date and time is USELESS. That section [grey] is ridiculously crowded. So instead of getting stuck in the cart madness, I decided not to take a cart. After walking around for awhile I had my arms full and decided okay I guess I should get one now. .....You know, I'm so disgusted thinking about his incredible lack of customer service, I don't even want to type this anymore... In short, that guy is absolutely useless and unfamiliar with customer service and basic problem solving. They basically hired him to listen to music and cart count while I ditch my armful of stuff and step over his little chain to exit, which elicited a scoff from him further proving his sad mediocrity. Because I didn't see him doing anything else productive for that giant line.. He definitely had ZERO solution when I needed a cart and instead just looked at me. And that previous reviewer's comment stands, I'm not making trips to my car to shop different sections..Goodwill Clearance Center DEFINITELY has you on that. And I despise...
Read moreI had to visit this location after winning an auction where the product was being held here. Great place to pick up your online auction winnings, as long as they're not too large. There's no curbside delivery of your items, despite what it says on the website when you go to schedule your pickup. Regarding the actual outlet that you can physically shop rather than sticking only to online ... It was something I was curious about but I won't be going back. It's going organized into several price delimited areas but the bins are chock full of cheap looking stuff and cardboard boxes that aren't open so you can't be sure what's actually in them. I'm not sure whether they encourage people to open the boxes or not but I didn't so I just bypassed consideration of all of that stuff. If you have hours spare and don't mind doing on the fly research, it's entirely possible you might find stuff to have a decent side hustle selling on Facebook marketplace or eBay. I'm going to stick to the auctions and concentrate on the locations that are closest to my home. Those are top notch. By the way, this outlet location is situated in the old Sears space on the second floor of the mall. There is no public restroom there so you'll have to head to the food court should you...
Read moreLocated on the second floor. It is set up just like a Goodwill Outlet store, like the one we have in town. Large bins filled with random stuff so there is a lot of digging around. I hate the large carts that are made available because they are mostly empty and blocking the way.
Tip: I would recommend just taking one of the white reuse bags they offer at the door because you will end up with a few extra items and your hands get full easily.
For Nellis: I would recommend that individual items be removed from their bags before being placed in the bins to minimize trash (as people will open them anyways and create an extra mess to dig through).
-Anything liquid should be taped shut to avoid accidental spills. -Small and multiple pieces should be kept in their bags. -Placing empty bins or cardboard boxes BELOW the tables to allow people to throw empty bags/boxes away would help. -Have employees walk around discouraging people from opening/separating items would help. Educating customers to download the app to scan items vs opening the boxes. Have tape on hand to reseal boxes...
