Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Visiting from the East Coast, I had never heard of Dutch Bros Coffee, but its retro design immediately piqued my interest. My friend, who lives on the West Coast, playfully made fun of me for not knowing their iconic windmill design.

This location was a drive through only situation, making it quite accessible for those who drive.

The service was great. As it was my first time, I asked the worker for a recommendation, which she happily provided. I felt genuinely bad that she was accepting orders outside in the 90 degree weather with a high UV index. She even told me it gets worse in the summer, which made me think, "Yikes." Management really needs to provide a solution that would make working conditions easier for employees in such heat. I was going to, and did, give her a tip specifically because she was working in that awful hot weather. However, at the payment time, she asked, "Would you like to add a tip?" which I assume is a company practice. This made me uncomfortable, and I wish this aspect of tipping could be less in your face.

For the drink, she recommended the cold brew with cookie soft top, if I remember correctly. It was good and quite memorable, especially for that hot weather, and I wanted to get something more iconic since it was my first time trying Dutch Bros. However, because I am normally a black coffee drinker, I do not think I would get it again.

The wait was kind of long, which I assume is just the nature of a drive through.

All in all, I would return and try an iced Americano or a regular iced cold brew next time I am...

So I pick up my daughter and asked what would you like this morning she said Dutch Brothers coffee, I said cool let me Google the closest one and here we are at this location_she ordered a annihilator and I ordered a white chocolate_chocolate chip muffin top which is always my favorite on a muffin!!! So I'm the drive through and the lady just kept telling me to pull up I really wanted to roll down my window because I rode my window up I didn't want to hear her anymore and say to where where am I rolling up to🤬 it was an agitating my daughter so bad she said Mom pull up a nice asked her to wear she just wrote her shoulders I said just let me roll out my window_I knew then our food or coffee was all going to be bad!!! I think the muffin top cuz she had to go check to make sure they had it was old expired taste like chalkboard!!!!!! Our coffees look different but they tasted the same My daughter could not deciphon whose was whose so basically $25 or more down the drain_this is how bad it was I asked her when she got out of the car did she want any of it of it she shook her head no thank...

My drinks were rushed I understand it got busy, but the drinks shouldn’t be rushed because they should look presentable nice and neat and not handed so rushed and quick because I didn’t even get a hello or anything which is fine. I understand it was busy, but I feel like because they’re under a time limit, they need to finish, which is understanding because I’ve been in the food industry, but it shouldn’t be rushing or not nicely presentable. It should all be good and tasting like it should taste and not like water downed I love Dutch Bros™ don’t get me wrong. It’s an amazing company but when it’s rushed and handed kind of rudely unacceptable. I’ve had a couple problems with this location.
