Worst service experience of our life was choosing to eat at the Olive Garden at Cheyenne and Rainbow. I believe our waiter, named Matt, forgot to put our dinner order in. After we finished having our soup, he came by and started talking to us about paying our bill via the table top device. I turned to my spouse and commented that I thought he forgot that we had ordered dinner. I mean, why wouldn’t you tell us about when our dinner was going to come out, instead of telling us about paying? My spouse gave him the benefit of the doubt. Come to find out, I was not off base, as other patrons there that were seated after us, began receiving their dinners. We were then, informed by the waiter, Matt that it was going to be awhile for our dinner. My spouse commented to him, “you forgot to put in our order didn’t you?” The manager, Long attempted to make things right by comp-ing our dinner which we did appreciate. Dinner came out and my dinner was luke warm at best. Almost as if had been sitting in the back, under the heating lamp. That’s when the comedy of errors really began. After dinner, we decided we were going to order dessert to take home with us. Matt only brought us one order of dessert telling us that they could not make both orders at once, so he brought them out separately. Okay, fine. By this time though, we felt as though we were being held hostage, just waiting unnecessarily. Finally, we were told we needed to pay for our desserts only. Okay. We tried to pay via the table top device, it had the complete wrong order for our bill. Then, Matt ran around to three other tables checking and swapping the table top devices around as it seemed they were ALL misplaced. He then commented that we had a charge for playing table, top games. Except, we didn’t play table top games. So then again, we had to wait to have this charge removed. Again, feeling, as if we are hostage at this point. My spouse was so upset, we ended up leaving the desserts we had ordered behind and confirming with the manager, Long that our dinner was comp’d. Of note, not once did the waiter named Matt accept responsibility, nor did he ever apologize to us. Unfortunately this completely ruined our Friday night. We go out to dinner on a weekly basis and let me just say, it will be awhile before we return to Olive Garden again, if ever. I gave the food 3 stars because it was served luke warm and if I could give zero stars for the service, I would. I’m sorry but they need...
Read moreWe always visit this location about once a month. Not only is it close but it never fails to seed our expectations for a dine in restaurant. Can't say the same about this time. First off server seemed like she was above everyone and better than us. The food tasted blah I always get the same thing 6oz sirloin with the garlic butter and alfredo. Steak was cooked perfect but was bland along with the alfredo no flavor. The salad was big chunks of the white ends of lettuce (gross). I don't wanna eat the nasty bitter ends of what's suppose to be a green salad. The server seemed like we were a burden rather than was happy to wait on us. Coming from a previous server, you treat all your guest the same no matter how they look or come off to be. We asked for an extra table game she said if the bar has one yeah but if not then it is what it is. That was a first!! Every other time the server is more than happy to find us another one as we have 3 kids and don't mind paying the extra 2 dollars for another one if it was busy I understand. But it was later everyone was clearing out she could have easily found us one. Very disappointed in that nights visit. We go out once a month, and spend $100 and whatever to have a good nice family meal and to let the kids play those table games that's what they look forward to going there for. My husband and I look forward to a great GREEN FRESH salad and food. Got none of that. We also got 2 slices of chocolate lasagna cake to go, we get home go to open it and the whole topping was stuck to top of container why not put in a bigger container she just smashed it into a small one? So it was a very disappointing night. Location Cheyenne and Rainbow...
Read moreSo, I went for my wife's birthday today. First time we have been back since last year. When we first walked in, we stood in the lobby for a good five to six minutes, maybe more. Making eye contact with the lady behind the bar and her trying to ignore us. Afterward, the lady came out of the bathroom and sat us at our table. We ordered our food and sat back to wait to eat and enjoy my wife's dinner. Our plates came, and they guy who brought it was extremely rude. He started grating cheese over my wife's drink and was doing it very rushed and very clumsy, spilling cheese all over my wife's neck in her drink and all over the table. When I asked him to please be more careful, he got extremely rude and did the same thing to my young daughter. I finally had to tell him to please just walk away. we were good. Then, as we all started to eat, my other daughter was like "Dad" they didn't bring my food. I had once again left the table and looked for the manager. They apologized for forgetting my daughters order and walked away. 20 min later, after all our food was cold, they brought her plate. Obviously, we were not all gonna eat without her. We are all here celebrating my wife's dinner, but it was an absolute failure. I feel so bad for my wife. Look, I get certain things happen, but when you're paying over 160 bucks, you expect to at least all eat together. Very very disappointed. The manager could of cared less. The only good out of it was our waitress Shannon. She had class and understood...
