Called ahead to advise of a party of 16 for 12/16/17 and spoke to buffet manager. Although area was set for this party, placement for person with walker was difficult to move about, and party was separated into 2 tables of 8 where it may have been easier to put tables together without separation of guests and not using the bench seating. Arrival was at 4pm for dinner menu on a Saturday, and guests attending all felt for the price that the food was sub par. And this was after the 3-4pm closure to restock with fresh product. Rolls were rock hard, chicken was rubbery, gravy was nasty tasting and meat was dry. Even the grandkids disliked the mac and cheese! The best product was the salad bar and the dessert bar, and the older children liked having a hamburger freshly grilled for them. In this party of 16 (11 adults and 5 children), for the money spent with the gratuity added, it was not worth the money for the evening prices. Would suggest trying the...
Read moreSanta Fe FEAST used to be the best reasonably-priced buffet in the Valley, with a good salad bar and selection of entrees, but they recently raised their prices and lowered their quality. Santa Fe buffet still offers a clean, relaxing, pleasant, open-design dining area. However, their best dessert, the chocolate cream pie, is sometimes scarce. The Thursday roast beef is quite GOOD, but on other days, like Sunday, it’s usually completely inedible.
Sunday buffet features smoked salmon and really good champagne, but other food items are mundane, and service is sometimes slow at best.
It’s no longer taking 10 minutes to check-in each person (if the restaurant is mostly empty and there are 3 people in line, be ready to wait 10+ minutes). I’ve consequently reduced my visits to Santa Fe over the last year, and will probably avoid it even more after I noticed this Sunday that the coleslaw was brown and spoiled - one bite was enough to...
Read moreWent here around 9 o'clock AM on a weekday.
The good: -Good price for all you can eat (about 9 dollars) -Lots of different food, including breakfast options in the morning and more traditional choices after 11 am -Clean, organized atmosphere and the wait time and crowd were very minimal (mind you this was 9 AM on a weekday) -Fantastic salad bar options
The bad: -You get what you pay for; the food is good enough, but probably will not wow you. Much more appropriate for a quick brunch or lunch than an actual outing focused on food -All times I've been here, the service is not great (again, you get what you pay for). Last visit, the waitress was particularly condescending and rude to someone I was with for no apparent reason
Overall, not an amazing buffet, but definitely a go to for me if I'm looking for a simple, affordable, and...
