Three weeks ago, my search for the perfect neighborhood bar led me to the doors of the Santa Fe Mining Co. Bar, and to be honest, I haven't looked elsewhere since. The mastermind behind my immediate allegiance to this spot? The graveyard bartender, Justin. His genuine hospitality and friendliness from that very first visit entirely shifted my bar loyalties. It's rare to find someone who makes you feel so at home, so quickly.

But it's not just Justin; the entire staff at Santa Fe Mining Co. Bar is beyond exceptional. They've set a new standard for what I look for in a bar: outstanding food, amazing drinks, and top-notch service that makes every visit memorable.

A regular at this bar, especially since I work nearby. The bartenders are always great and try as best as they can to make sure they get everyone their drinks even on super busy nights. The food here is also very good. I have had a lot of the different items from the menu and have not had anything bad yet. The steak nachos, all the pizzas, their Italian sandwiches and there breakfast items are always delicious. The sliders they have as well as their mozzarella sticks are also great to get. I'm sure the sliders have to be a fan favorite there because they do tend to run out of those often. The environment is very cozy and friendly. Love that there is an app to play music on the sound system there. They have two pool tables which is great as pool is a must at bars. The patio area is the best. This bar USED to be a great place to go. We were two for two on great bartenders and service. Brian and Justin definitely set the standard high on customer service and bartending. Unfortunately, Brian left and my schedule no longer works around the days Justin is bar tending. Figured if two bar tenders were this great, the rest must be too! Nope! Apparently, the rule is for every $100 you put in, you get 1 food item comped....well, I put in over $200 and my partner put in over $200 but we were told there was no comp?? Yeah, no thanks! Usually, $40 in food wouldn't be an issue, but ZERO customer service skills and all from the two bar tenders. It was well over an hour before I was asked if I wanted another drink...
