The old owners are back and better than ever! So happy to see everyone again and the food is amazing 😍 I am so happy ❤️

The food has the same flavor we are used to, the restaurant and owners are so inviting, and we couldn't be happier to be back there. We appreciate you all so much.

Can't wait to go back next time!

Old Review: I've been a loyal customer for over 14 years and I'm really sad the new ownership seemingly changed the recipes. I am happy to give new owners a chance but have been back twice and it's not the same :( the vibes are different, there's no homey feel when you come in anymore.

The enchilada sauce was where it was at, and now it tastes reminiscent of canned. There's no punchy flavor you used to get. Considering they use it in almost everything, it's made the menu inedible for me.

They also taste like they added clove to the rice, and it's VERY strong. The beans don't taste good either.

This used to be my favorite restaurant, I would ask to go here on my birthday. Whenever we would move, we would make the drive across town just to go here. It's a really sad day to say goodbye to it.

Wishing the best for the new...

I had the pleasure of dining at Serrano's Mexican Food and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. The atmosphere was welcoming and well kept, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. The food was delicious. Each dish was bursting with flavor and prepared with fresh ingredients, showcasing the authentic taste of Mexican cuisine. It is clear that the chefs take pride in their work. I would also like to commend the professionalism of the cashier. She was friendly, efficient, and made the ordering process seamless. Additionally, I noticed that the cook wore gloves while preparing the food, demonstrating a strong commitment to hygiene and food safety. One of the most notable aspects of my visit was that the restaurant had no unpleasant odors, which is often a concern in food establishments. This clean and fresh environment made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Serrano's Mexican Food to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a clean and professional environment. I will definitely be back and encourage others to visit as well. I give it a...

Today 12/10/2022 I had high hopes, considering other peoples reviews and their rating… I was thoroughly disappointed! Breakfast cost me $17.+ with tip.. I tried three of their sauces, the one on the table, a red salsa and supposedly their hot hot salsa all taste watered down with not much flavor.. they were served with bagged corn bag chips. I ordered huevos, con chorizo with rice, beans and corn tortillas. The eggs were slightly flavored with chorizo fat. There was little to no chorizo in my eggs whatsoever… tasted more like scrambled eggs than anything.. The beans were flavorless and tasted like canned refried. The rice was also flavorless and plain, as if made in a rice cooker with a little ketchup, to give it color.. the corn tortillas were store-bought, even the coffee was not good. You can typically always tell if a Mexican restaurant will be any good from the chips and salsa they serve to you first when you sit down. I should’ve taken the warning early on. I don’t recommend and will...

Let me sum up why you MUST come here and give this a shot. The key to a great restaurant comes down to passion, family and pride. This place has those things. The interior is clean and simple, comfortable booths, etc. We came late at night and the surrounding businesses are closed making it feel dark, but push beyond that and just jump inside, you'll be glad you did. Lastly, as non spanish speaking caucasians, occasionally we have difficulty with places like El Gordo, where very little effort exists to communicate in English. This place had none of that...service was fantastic, very helpful with the menu, etc. I had the chimichanga (huge!) and a chicharron taco...fantastic...my gf had steak ranchero (wow tender and flavorful). The salsa bar has great diversity and small salads to sample. Lots of drink and dessert options and executed perfectly. There is real pride in place here...abd thats what makes this place a winner.
