I finished shopping inside the grocery store where this Starbucks sits. There were three employees working here and no customers in front of me. Two of the employees were cleaning some items in the sink area and were just chatting away. One of them saw me and said nothing. Behind a counter was a woman who just stared at me for a solid minute. I never said anything to any of them, they all knew I was there and not one person even acknowledged me. The woman eventually walked around the counter and punched some things into the register, I assumed to log into it. Eventually, she started mumbling something, I assumed was some kind of greeting but I have no idea as I never took Gibberish in school.
I ordered a Grande Iced Mocha and she just kept mumbling. I paid for the coffee and it didn't go through. She just kept mumbling at me and you can tell by the look on her face she absolutely did not want to be there, did not want to help me, and could not care less about anything about her job. I told her that I didn't need the coffee that badly and I was sorry for being such an imposition to her. I was glad to walk way...
Read moreAs soon as I walked up to the counter, the Indian woman that was there to take my order seemed like she was in a bad mood. I kindly ordered a grande iced coffee with light ice. (To note: I'm a very patient, understanding person as I work in food service and know what it is like.) I always ask for light ice because the ice melts fast in this Vegas summer heat, and the coffee gets watered down. I even explained that to her, because at first, she didn't seem to understand what I was talking about when I made my request. Then, she said she understood, and continued with the transaction. When my drink was ready, she said, "Here's your coffee. VERY LIGHT ICE." She was really mean. She put my coffee in a tall cup instead of a grande cup and put extra ice! Not even exaggerating lol. There was so little actual coffee in the cup that the ice didn't even have a chance to melt before I drank it all... This place has cheaper prices, but I would recommend going to the Starbucks down the street by Pinkbox Doughnuts. Their staff isn't mean like the...
Read moreI don’t typically go to Starbucks but I was told to come for the Dubai chocolate matcha drink. I don’t know the lingo so I presented the screen shot to the manager and she dismissed it and asked me to read it off. Well I didn’t know what the abbreviations stood for but I did my best reading off what I could. She eventually had to look at it herself. She could’ve done that to begin with. She never smiled, there was no small talk she just looked like she didn’t want to be there. So now I’m waiting for my drink and the girl who’s making it hands it to me. There’s absolutely no eye contact, no smile, not even a “have a nice day”. ZERO personality from either one! What ever happened to good customer service? I paid $9.10 for this drink and I didn’t get a hello or a goodbye. The worst customer service! By the way the drink...
