This park was our favorite for the past 3 years. However, we’ve been avoiding it for months. We took our older dogs there the first 2 years then we began taking our 2 chocolate labs since they were done with immunizations. They’ve been going to this park practically everyday. When they were 8 months old, we went just as usual, and a lady decided to bring her daughter’s dog who has never been to the park before. 5 mins into walking in, her dog bit one of our pups. We asked her to remove the dog from the park. Our pup seemed distraught, but okay, then. However, 4 days later he developed a large bump on his back. He woke up that morning very lethargic so we immediately took him to his vet. He was but by that damn dog. $600 , and traumatic experience later, we avoided any parks for a few months. We decided last month to take them and try again. The park is their favorite place to go, and we didn’t want to live in fear, and decided to approach with caution. We’ve been back a handful of times since that long break and the park has changed. Many new dogs, many aggressive dogs, too many uneducated dog owners in the park now. It’s so sad to say that we may not ever return again. We’ve witnessed more dog fights between other dogs since we’ve returned. Wish it was how...

Okay so this is a tough review for me because my dog loves it here. I took her Monday evening, there was 30 plus dogs in the small dog area. My dog has never been a drooler but I noticed the past two visits it was excessive. I noticed green slim on her poop after the previous visit. After this particular visit she left with her paws full of shit and some sort of small saw dust like particles all over her paws. It was disgusting! I cleaned her paws when we got in the car and immediately bathed her when we got home. Over the past few days she has had horrible diarrhea . There are many owners not cleaning up after their dogs nor is the park being cleaned adequately. Please be cautious going here. My dog loves all the dogs! Will you love the vet bills to follow? We are scheduled for vet tomorrow. Important we are all transparent for the safety of our animals. My dog is 10 years old and NEVER had issues that result in vet visits. Please be cautious and be sure to post if your dog is having...

4/6/23 Update: after the renovations, this park is amazing! 🐶 It's one of the largest dog area I've been to in the Spring Valley area. Has trees and shaded seating, doggy drinking water fountains.

Original edit 4 years earlier: It was a beautiful dog park. The biggest I've seen, and the people/dogs were super friendly. But, I will absolutely never come back due to the plant problem. The grass has these tiny little stickers and it got completely tangled in my maltipoos fur. All the dogs, especially long haired ones like mine, were covered in them. I took her home and attempted to hand pick this tiny beads off of her before giving up. It was so badly knotted that I had to get my dog...

Please be aware of this stodgy lady she will harass you until the dog park is just for her and her dogs. Literally began whining about another small dog following her dog and not letting them walk. She was saying that she will call animal control if her older dog gets hurt from a simple "dog to dog sniff" and that she need to follow the rules. She brings 7 small dogs witch one is old and other two are not hers. She literally made the young mom with her son just sit in a bench and ruin their day just to not cause her to lash out again. after a while another family came in and she started doing her harassing again smh. I never thought this antique was so haunting. yikes.

New favorite park. We brought our husky here for the first time since we moved here and the park is fantastic. There are 4 separate fenced dog parks. There's a playground and splash pad for kiddos, a fitness park, and a small well kept bathroom. Signs posted every where for rules and information. The parking lot is also very decent size. The children's graffiti is also very interesting. I live seeing what they wrote. It's so wholesome.

Really nice dog park. Enclosed grass and they have the standard big dog side and small dog size but also they have an additional two enclosures for both sizes, maybe for training or if someone's pup is having an anti social day. Great place to bring you pup to give them a chance to run around and off the hot concrete
