I love to go line dancing here, because it’s not so far as the other Stoney’s, BUT..
Music - people come here to line dance and listen to country music, but yet they play charts music and rap in between. As soon as they play other music than country, the dance floor is empty. Stop playing other music, just play country, that’s what Stoney’s should be about
Going in and out - yes, they do check everything, which is annoying, but it also makes me feel safe. If you go to the bathroom, you have to go out again, but you don’t have to stand in line to get in again, you can take the back entrance. They, will however, check you again. Which is okay I guess
Food and drinks - I don’t necessarily need food, and getting drinks myself in a bar is something which is pretty normal to me, I never expected anyone to serve me, it’s a bar, not a restaurant
Prices - yes, I do feel they are more expensive than Stoneys at Townsquare, but not crazy expensive
Conclusion: yes, I will go here again, the line dancing lessons are great, I’m just not very happy about all the pop and rap music in between
PLEASE PICK ONE MUSIC GENRE, and not a little bit of everything, that’s not going to work for a place with a reputation as a country bar
That’s the reason why you’re getting 3 stars instead of 5, even if I will come again probably, but you won’t see me dancing on anything...
Read moreThe pat down at the entrance is a bit invasive but whatever. The lack of bathrooms means you have to walk out of the bar into the casino. There is a toilet outside, but it's got plastic plants in it (decoration).. You can't return through the door you came in, but through the back way. They search you again. Every time. I think I counted about 15 security guards that police the tables (we were joking that was because they didn't want you to have a spare empty beer bottle to hit someone with). There are guards outside the patio area apparently there to make sure you do not pass anything to the folks inside the patio area. I listen to a lot of country, but did not know about 90% of the songs played. Bartenders are cordial, dance instructors seem to be nice. My main thoughts are that the music isn't what I really want to listen to, and if security has to be that tight, it's a place I don't need to be. Two thumbs down for me. Lots of other places to go with better music and where I don't get felt up every time I need to...

I don't think i recognized one song they played. So if you like country music from these artists don't bother going. I was there on a Friday night . Stayed late ..very disappointed. Well here’s an update on Jan 17th . They now have 90’s night on the 3rd Thursday of the month . Well it’s a step in the right direction. I give them credit for that . They should play some of that music every night . 90’s country is the most...
