Just bought a house around the corner from this bar, so I took my sister to go check it out. The guy just outside the front door cooking food was very welcoming and had a wonderful vibe. Too bad the bartender did not have that same energy. No greeting or anything, but I could look pass that since there was a decent amount of people seated at the bar. My sister and I sat at the bar and patiently waited while checking out the bar. We were excited since it was not very busy, despite it being 10pm on a Saturday (red flag), and the pool tables were open. Oh, and the guy outside was grilling up some Philly cheesesteaks that smelled bomb, so I was planning on getting some food too. But of course we needed to get our drinks first, so we waited. After some time had passed, I noticed the girl sitting in the seat next to me had her chin in her hand with her elbow on the bar and a very displeased look on her face. I asked her if she had been waiting long and she gave me the very wide eye YES nod. With a nervous laugh I replied, "oh, that's not a good sign." As we sat there for the next few minutes, I noticed the bartender had zero urgency and was doing more conversating with the guys than actually making drinks. That is when she picked up one of the guys empty glasses and leaned in to hear what he wanted before proceeding to start making him another drink. Mind you, while I was sitting there prior, that guy was sitting at the bar drinking his drink and had just finished it. The fact she started to make him another drink when the lady next to me had been waiting a long time to order her drink, and didnt acknowledge me or my sister, told me everything I needed to know. My sister and I walked straight out. Had to thank the guy outside and let him know he was the best part of that bar. Unfortunate, since it is right around the corner from my house. They missed out on bringing in new business from locals because their bartender has...
ย ย ย Read moreLove this place... i think I'm a regular. The bar tenders are always nice, friendly and have great character, drinks can usually be had for a good price (i usually get beer by the glass or pitcher), open Mic night is Weds. And Thurs. And Fri. Is karaoke night and even when that music is done they have a digital jukebox that you can play your own music with some spare change... its a small bar, so it can get pretty crowded in here. Always came across friendly people here too (and of course, some of which who were way, way too drunk)... oh, and this place has Darts and Pool Tables. Not bad for the Only...

At least 3 people working behind bar keeping everyone served with very little wait plus an extra person keeping things picked up and assisting bartenders so even though it got really busy things maintained in order well. Karaoke host was very friendly and walking around getting people when he had a chance. Super happy vibe throughout the...
