The Blessed Kitchen — Restaurant in Lathrop

We used to like this pinoy restaurant,even if it’s far from our place,we kept coming back there for short orders of their menu like pinapaitang kambing,kilawen,kaldereta,dinuguan,short order of lechon during saturdays etc etc,their food is exceptional compared to others until recently we had a very bad experience with them,we had a weekend bday party for my husband (May 29,2021) so weeks prior to these event we called Blessed Kitchen to order 1 whole lechon for the price of 370$ as what the guy who answered the phone told me and he assured me of my order,he did not instruct me to give payment on advance, so he said payment will be on the same day we pick up the lechon,so 3 days (May 26) before our scheduled party i called the restaurant around 926 am in the morning (a lady answered my call) to make sure our order for a whole lechon was not forgotten and she confirmed to me YES,they have it written on their order notes she told me for May 29,2021 to be picked up at 11 am,coz i even asked her if we can pick up at an earlier time like 103O but she told me we got to get it at 11am for the fee of 370$ to be paid upon pick up day,we ordered 1 whole lechon coz we are expecting a lot of guests and the day came we were so excited especially the bday celebrant (my husband ) he left the house early to get the lechon on time coz our party will start 12pm onwards ,when he arrived at BLESSED KITCHEN to his surprised and was shocked,they told him there’s no order for whole lechon,no confirmation was made——and they just offered my husband a half portion of the lechon and the rest is history......thank u BLESSED KITCHEN for your PROFESSIONALISM,we used to love this restaurant before but we can never go back again especially for big orders on special occassion,we don’t wanna be in shame leaving our...

Ordered & paid for 10pcs barbecue and lechon & agreed to pick up at noon time, but because I overslept, granting I work night shift... I picked it up 2.5 hrs later which was 02:30PM and found out they sold my 10pcs barbecue. They kept saying "we tried calling you several times but you didn't pick up...." but it's still not an excuse though coz I paid for it and they close at 3pm and I was there at 2:30pm.I was really disappointed coz I have friends coming over in the evening and I have no time to cook and obviously preordered those for a reason.But, What can I do right? My husband saw on google. They just opened 2 months ago. We were hungry for Filipino food. The husband n wife team was friendly. It's like a deli. They had tables n chairs but we opted to eat in our car ... Safety reason. Social distancing. My husband chose the Fried Pampano fish n rice. I had Igado n Mechado. I haven't had Igado for years!.
