This is a new location. Very central and easy to find. We got the conference room, all glass, for a few hours. It was comfortable enough but we had to ask them to adjust the AC before it wasn't cool enough. So breaking down this post I'll discuss the points separately. The location itself was clean and the staff were accommodating. They even provided us with cups of ice water without charge. Kudos for DD on that. Now the other portion of this post is regarding the booking of the conference room. Our team's leader called in to request the room, she (being a lawyer) specifically asked if there was a charge associated with securing the room and was informed over the phone that there was no charge. However when we arrived we were told that there was no room reservation and to get the room there would be a charge of $15 per hour. Our team lead had the information she received over the phone and cou identify the name of the employee she spoke with; that employee was able to confirm the conversation regarding the reservation. That was great but then there was the matter of the room fee. There was not sign anywhere in the store to notify customers about the $15 p/h for the conference room. It was quickly placed AFTER we cleared things up and secured the room. Also, we paid for three hours, from 7-10 but by 9:30 we were told that they had to close the store, they drive-thru would be opened but not the store. Read moreI don’t even write reviews!!!!On this very day I am truly disgusted with the service I received. I go to this location every morning and is usually treated with so much care and respect. But on this Sunday afternoon 9/3/23 at 12:30 I received burned nasty cold food .. they got my order wrong not one but three times. The lady in drive-through wanted to argue with me because I told her that that was the second time they had messed up my order I ordered a strawberry dragon fruit refresher with sweet tea. The first time she gave me a strawberry Colatta, and the second time I received a strawberry refresher with green tea in which I returned it, and asked if she could use sweet tea as I requested the drink was snatched out of my hand, and she threw a fit right there in front of the manager, and the manager stood there and said nothing just shook her head. You would think after paying $40 at a place that I love so much that I would be treated better. Who knows maybe this young lady was having a bad day, but I even expressed to her that I did not know why she was upset and that I just wanted what I order to be correct. But she was so upset. She just blew a head gasket. I’m not even sure why even want to eat the food I just ordered. I really just wanted to give everything back and just get my money back but instead I just told her to have a great day but I’m not sure if I’m ever going to return especially to that location. One cashier lady in a white shirt was taking and checking monies under the counter where there were two Cash register machines. I said, excuse me please, "is this where I stand to place my orders? She replied yes so I stood waiting, watching the other lady cashier at the drive through window do her thing.
A little while after the drive through cashier said to me, one minute I will take your order. I said thank. The drive through cashier then said to me from the drive through window may I take your order. I said excuse me, I didn't believe she was actually asking me to shout my order from across the other side of the counter. I said to her I was not shouting my order across to her and it is not good customer service and at least she could have come to me to take my order. Mind you, I saw three workers in there plus they weren't busy. I repeated to her that's not good service she stood by the window. Moreover, a customer sitting nearby at a table said that they didn't have customer service here. I must state the place is clean but my customer service experience was not pleasant, no customer interaction. I left and went to the Dunkin on 1801W Oakland Park Blvd. A more pleasant atmosphere and an excellent customer service experience.
