ALDI — Local services in Lauderdale Lakes

Very nice This is probably my second favorite Aldi location.

This location is larger than my favorite location, however much further. It seems to offer more items than my local Aldi location because it is larger and has that extra shelf space. This location was a lot busier than the other location but luckily enough the lines were moving pretty fast.

The one worker that I had an encounter with was really nice and polite. All cashiers seem to be in a hurry no matter the location, so not much talk outside of "hello" and "thank you". Which is fine. Other than I do not recall seeing anyone else walking around.

The food looked just as good as my local location. My sweet kale chopped salad mix looked fresh and not like it had been sitting for days. The envy apples that I love were bright, shiny and red. The green grapes looked just as delicious although a little on the small side. The other location has the big grapes. This time around I purchased some honey roasted turkey lunch meat and cheese to give my son a different option for lunch. I made myself a sandwich once I got home and it was pretty tasty!

In either location, I have not ventured into their household and toy items. I always see a few people buying things while I am in there and my mother has brought my son some toys on various occasions. Those are just items that I do not think to look for while in Aldi.

Today I was at the Lauderdale Lakes store in the afternoon and was treated badly by the cashier. At payment time she was rushing my friend and I to pay fast, yelling and repeating the total amount over and over as I tried to get the card out of my wallet and begged for a second of patience. I couldn't find the card because I got nervous and my friend took the bill. The attendant asked me to leave the cart and take the other one. I was nervous and did what she asked but when I tried to put it in the right position she pulled the cart violently and I almost broke my finger. I'm completely freaked out by that girl's behavior. I asked her to be calm, but she screamed things I didn't understand. I frequent other Aldi stores in other cities, but this Lauderdale Lakes store has poor service and the employees treat customers like animals. I regretted not canceling my purchases. I will never go back there! If you want the attendant code and the time of purchase, I can let you know, as I don't want other people to go through what I went through today and if you want to be sure of my complaint just look at the camera images and you'll see how it behaved...

They are an excellent supermarket. In fact the best place if you are watching what you eat. Diabetics should love this place. There are lots of sugar free beverages, sugar free puddings, and sugar free cookies. For weight watchers there are many eatable protein bars there to chose from.The nuts section has nuts at affordable prices and the isles are clean and well maintained. I love shopping here. They don't give plastic bags so prepare to buy or bring your own. You will need to put 0.25 cents in the cart in order to move it. The line always happen to be long with one cashier sometimes they use a second one in case the line is super long. There is not alot in the produce department not much variety, check your eggs cause sometimes the eggs maybe spoilt. Apart from that the prices are reasonable. The customer care from employees is sad, somber, on mute or tired so no customer care is here just grab your...
