I recently visited Curry Cafe in Lauderhill, FL, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I stepped in, it became abundantly clear that this establishment falls far short of the basic expectations one would have for a dining establishment.
Let's start with the customer service, or lack thereof. The staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the patrons. It was as if the concept of customer satisfaction was foreign to them. Requests for assistance were met with blank stares and a palpable indifference that left me questioning why I chose to spend my time and money at Curry Cafe.
To make matters worse, the manager or owner's behavior was not only unprofessional but downright rude. It's disheartening when the leadership of an establishment sets such a negative tone. Their dismissive attitude and lack of concern for customers created an uncomfortable atmosphere that overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the meal.
Moving on to the cleanliness of the interiors, one would expect a basic level of hygiene in any dining establishment. Unfortunately, Curry Cafe failed to meet even this fundamental requirement. The tables were sticky, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. It was evident that proper cleaning and maintenance were not priorities for the establishment.
Lastly, let's address the most critical aspect of any restaurant – the food. I had hoped that the culinary experience would redeem the establishment, but alas, that was not the case. The quality of the food was subpar at best, with flavors that lacked depth and authenticity. I had tried the Mango Curry Chicken and the spices were undercooked. It's disheartening to witness such a disregard for the essence of the cuisine they claim to specialize in.
In conclusion, my visit to Curry Cafe was an unfortunate mistake. The poor customer service, rude management, unclean interiors, and lackluster food quality collectively created an experience that I would not wish upon anyone. It is my sincere hope that the owners take these criticisms to heart and make the necessary improvements to salvage what remains of their reputation. As it stands, I cannot in good conscience recommend Curry Cafe to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience in Lauderhill, FL.
No surprise that the restaurant only had a handful tables with patrons.
The owner abuses anyone who leaves a critical review online instead of focusing on improving the quality of food and service. I don't expect anything...

Read moreExperience was terrible. Went in for dinner with a group of friends. Waitress came over to take our order and we asked for some more time. Came over again 10 minutes later. We ordered and she said she’ll come right back with our waters first. 30 minutes later and finally our waters come. We ended up waiting another over 30 minutes for the food. In total over an hour just sitting there waiting. When we came in there was only one other table that was seated. The restaurant was fairly empty. Later, people who came in after us got their food and are almost finished and we are still sitting there with our waters. Went up to ask about how long and she said that the kitchen was very short staffed. We got our food shortly after and later her manager or someone came over and tried to justify the situation by telling a whole story about why they are short staffed. We ordered three baskets of naans and only received two. When we told someone he said he’ll be right back with the order but then came back later and said they already gave it to us. We pointed at the table and clearly there was only two baskets. Then they told us another whole story about some new cook and chaos in the kitchen to make an excuse for their bad execution. Later when the check came, they charged us a 4% card fee without even asking how we wanted to pay. Our party of 5 was automatically charged a mandatory 18% tip that they said was “restaurant rules”. The service did not deserve even 15% tip. I went to pay with cash and spoke with the manager who was not very understanding of our terrible experience. Still made us pay the 18% tip. Food was average at most. Was not spicy for those who wanted spicy, too spicy for those who ordered mild. The vindaloo had a bitter aftertaste, which there shouldn’t be. Interior was also uncomfortable. There were strobe lights and flashing blinding lights. My back was turned to the lights but a friend sitting across from me felt uncomfortable. Bad service, below average food, unfair charging, overall terrible experience. Would not recommend anyone to come here.
