Took the level 1 freedive course and it did not disappoint! CJ and Gip are true professionals and they taught me things I never knew our bodies were capable of. I am new to spearfishing/freediving and I have only been able to dive to 30ft and have never attempted to go any deeper because I did not know if I would be able to. With the skills we learned during the course all 4 of us students were able to crush the 20 meter (≈ 66 ft) dive. After we passed, we attempted 30 meters (≈ 100ft) for fun to set personal records for ourselves and we all crushed it as well. I walked away from the course feeling confident to take on new depths for spearfishing, knowing the safety procedures in case of emergencies, and how to prevent them.
