If you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine in South Florida, Shahi Restaurant is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the rich aroma of freshly cooked food and warm spices that immediately made me feel at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for both families and solo diners.
I chose the buffet, which is priced very reasonably at just $20 per person. For the variety and quality offered, it was truly excellent value.
The buffet spread was impressive and thoughtfully prepared. Every dish tasted homemade and rich in flavor. The Nihari was the absolute highlight—slow-cooked and full of depth, with tender meat that melted in the mouth. The naan was hot, fluffy, and fresh out of the tandoor, perfect for soaking up the flavorful gravy.
There were also crispy, golden samosas that were perfectly spiced, and a flavorful chaat station that delivered that sweet, tangy, and spicy kick just like you’d find on the streets of Lahore. A comforting soup was available to start the meal, and the buffet included a variety of cold drinks and the most amazing karak chai I’ve had in a restaurant. The chai had just the right amount of sweetness and a strong cardamom flavor that lingered in the best way.
The staff at Shahi Restaurant were incredibly kind, attentive, and respectful. They made sure all the trays were refilled promptly, kept the seating area clean, and greeted everyone with genuine warmth.
Signboards clearly listed each dish, and everything was presented neatly and hygienically. You could tell there was pride behind the food and care in every detail.
This wasn’t just a meal. It was a full experience—a culinary tour of Pakistan with the comfort of a local setting. Without a doubt, Shahi Restaurant serves some of the best Pakistani food I have tasted in South Florida. For just $20, the buffet offers unbelievable value for the flavor, variety, and hospitality you receive.
I will definitely be going back and recommending this gem to friends and family. If you are anywhere near the area, make sure to stop by. You will not be...
Read moreThis is the best Indian restaurant I've visited in this area, and there are so many w/in the same block. Doesn't come up in google search for Indian restaurants easily, but I'm glad I found it. The goat meat is tender and the biryani itself was very flavorful, generous portions w generous about of meat. I forgot to take pics of goat curry and samosa, both were equally as good, bursting w flavor!!! The service was great, very friendly, pleasant and helpful w answering questions patiently. Price is excellent for the portions and great w packing to-go orders by lining the styrofoam w parchment paper, and wrapping the whole container in plastic to avoid spills. These details matter to me, I hope they don't change anything! Wish i found them sooner, I'll be...
Read moreWent this afternoon and the food was absolutely amazing‼️ I don't write reviews fr but it would be bad karma not to with how good it was. We got the lunch combo and barbecue platter, too much for 2 people we could've just shared one. Luckily, my cousin and I were able to enjoy the leftovers as dinner. Honestly, I was hesitant considering the location and the empty restaurant but was absolutely blown away. Even my dad was satisfied, considering he's probably the greatest hater I know 😭. Pictured is the lunch combo + garlic naan. If you're not good with spice, you'll probably need the mango lassi like I did, it was...
