10/20/23 - second try: ordered 2 × red velvet waffles; wings lunch special with hazel sauce, fries, sprite; wings lunch special with lemon pepper sauce, fries, and Dr. Pepper. Food was good, fresh, and hot but... red velvet waffles - dry (not craving waffles from here anymore 😔), soaking it in the syrup didn't help either; didn't know wings came with it since it's not in the description like it is under the Belgian waffles; wings that came with the waffles were more flavorful than the wings lunch special; hazel sauce was good 👍🏾😊 (elevated those wings and the fries); ketchup not used to that color or taste, preferred to use the hazel sauce instead; fries were very soft, mushy after touched (better for teething babies); lemon pepper sauce was pure grease; no Dr. Pepper - was substituted with another drink. Thanks for refunding the alkaline water 😉. Is there a way to temporarily remove what's out of stock on the online menu? GrubHub driver: professional, punctual, very friendly with effective communication. Hopefully a third time will be the charm. We'll see in the near distant future...

I had the pleasure of trying this bomb black owned restaurant and the service was wonderful, food was cooked to protection i found my new soul food home ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also if you wondered what I ordered it was the catfish lunch with the two sides being the Mac and the greens and it was fried to perfection and the Mac was all cheesy and creamy and well seasoned the greens well seasoned and not all salty , I also ordered the bust down ribs and shrimp both cooked to perfection that hazel Sauce is bomb as hell as well and the rice was sooooo good well seasoned not all soggy hands down the best I had...
