Del Sol Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Laurel

On a visit to Laurel, Mississippi I found an authentic Mexican food destination at Del Sol Mexican Restaurante which seemed like a good option on my quest for some good Mississippi Mexican food. Del Sol Mexican Restaurante is located on North 16th Avenue in an easy to access location. Del Sol Mexican Restaurante is one of the more beautifully decorated Mexican food options I've ever seen with beautiful wood carvings in most of the furniture along with great food specials which helps make them a popular Mexican restaurant in the Laurel, MS area. Del Sol has an extensive menu with enough items to please nearly any taste. Many people consider this one of the best Mexican food options in the area and I would agree with them as Del Sol provides a lot of food at a good value in a nice environment.

Excellent experience! I was passing through Laurel on a motorcycle trip and booked in at the Super 8. Del Sol was across the street so I walked over for dinner. I was immediately greeted by the host and seated at a very nice booth. My server, Alondra, brought over a commentary bowl of chips and salsa, and took my drink and food order. The food was fantastic....large portions and delicious, the atmosphere and decorations were really cool, and Alondra was courteous, efficient, and friendly. Also, I was thanked by the manager at the door when I was leaving, and we had a nice little conversation....that was also a very nice touch. I highly recommend Del Sol Mexican...

Right through the door, we were treated wonderfully. The hostess was incredibly friendly and seated us immediately. I noticed later that she was constantly observed available seating. Our server, I wish I would have gotten her name but we had a large celebration group, could not have been more friendly, attentive, and quick. She checked on us at just the right time. The food was brought to the table so fast and when I say it was fabulous I am not exaggerating. You could not find one person at our table who did not love their meal. I would suggest looking at their menu online before going the selection is outstanding. Overall, the five stars is well earned....
