Read more2nd time visiting. 1st time we loved the staff and the local atmosphere, the drinks however were at best so so. I had ordered a latte my wife a mocha. So flash forward a couple of months and we decided to try them again thinking we'll anybody can have a bad day, and maybe the drinks will be better. I went with coffee and while not my taste in blends it was coffee and okay. My wife ordered a mocha. She took a couple of sips through our lack luster breakfast sandwichs. When we were going to leave she said she was going to try to add some sugar to it. As we walked out she started to throw the almost full drink in the trash, I said hold on. I tasted it. (I was once a barista for a Nordstrom Ebar) it tasted like no mocha I've ever tasted, no chocolate taste no espresso taste didn't even taste like whole milk (skim maybe) virtually no taste. Horrible. I decided to give them a chance, since bad drinks happen sometimes. With an almost full drink we approached the counter and explained that the drink tasted bad. The girl, with an attitude said what do you want me to do about it? I suggested she could remake it she shrugged it off. Both girls just looked at us, not willing to fix it. I said I want to continue coming there as we like to support local but this was the second chance, and the drinks we got last time weren't good either. I would like them to make a good drink, so we can continue to come there. They didn't care. Didn't offer to make the drink again, didn't offer a refund... Just stood with attitude. We said well I guess we won't be back then, as we left heard her say "whatever".
Bad drinks, mediocre food, horrible staff. I NEVER leave bad reviews, this however made me do it to warn you not to...
Read moreFirst I must apologize for not taking pictures of our wrap and BLT. They were too good and we were too hungry.
Finding a small Mom & Pop shop on Main St is always a good thing. The customer service is outstanding. I would come here just to say hi and get a smile back from everyone behind the counter.
We ordered a BLT on wheat and a Curry Chicken Salad Wrap. My Wife's Curry Chicken Salad Wrap was on point. She did the flavor was good and the chicken was cooked well. She would definitely get it again. The Wrap was fresh as well.
My BLT was hitting. I could have used more mayo but that is just because I love mayo more than the average person. The bacon was flavorful but not too salty and cooked just right. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and the bread was really good and hearty. I found out about the Coco bread after my order was prepared, I would have loved to try it on that because I love, love, love Coco bread and can eat it anyway. Their Coco bread was so good. I ate it plain. On a breakfast sandwich it would be amazing!
We both got a freshly made tea. My Wife got the Nana's Ginger Peach and I got the Nana's Ginger Mint. Both had amazing flavor and tasted fresh. A little sweet for our tastes straight so we needed to water it down, but if you like real down home "sweet tea" then you will enjoy them straight with no chaser :-)
Overall 5 star experience from start to finish. They will even send you a text when your order is ready. I love this spot and look forward to many more taste adventures for...
