When I lived in Greenville, I would visit the Pasqualeâs almost daily to get a ham and cheese calzone.. but since I moved to Biloxi, I canât make a 5 hour trip just for one.. so I decided to stop at this one to see if they were as good.. and I was beyond disappointed. first thing I noticed when I picked it up was that the fresh out the oven calzone was in a styrofoam container.. which burned a hole in the box and made my food smell and taste like plastic.. the second thing I noticed was the âclosing foldâ of the calzone was on the bottom instead of the top.. which isnât that bad .. just weird because Iâve never had a calzone whoâs fold wasn't on top. (and no I didnât have it upside down, you could tell it was cooked like that) the last thing was that I had WHOLE PIECES of ham in my calzone. Itâs like they took half a pack of sandwich meat and slapped it in there. They didnât even bother to cut the dang meat up and spread it around. The fold wasnât really an issue. Just something Iâve never seen before . It was the smell and taste of burned styrofoam along with having a whole slices of...
Read morel've eaten at this Pasquale's quite a few times but this was my first visit under the current new ownership. There used to be a lot more Pasquale's around but this is one of the few left that I know about. They used to have a great pasta and pizza buffet here but they have decided to end the buffet forever. The pizza is still good here while I was a bit disappointed in my stromboli as I liked the version with red sauce and cheese but they only offered the version with gravy. Their spaghetti and meatballs is still really good and I would say the pasta or pizza are probably the best things being served these days. Overall this place hasn't changed much at all other than not having video games inside anymore so there is a lot of nostalgia in here and it is an enjoyable spot for pizza or pasta.

The problem was, (and the reason for the 2 star rating), that the food was virtually inedible. I'm not sure how they did it, but they managed to make a pepperoni pizza with almost no flavor. The only discernable taste was this sour, acidic aftertaste from either the under seasoned tomato sauce, or old cheese that had turned rancid. Either way, my wife and son got ill, and almost the entire order was shipped to the trash man. What a waste of money. Lesson learned! I don't see us going back anytime...
