McDonald's — Restaurant in Laurinburg

I went through the drive-thru McDonald's in laurinburg probably around 8:00 p.m. Sunday night and it was ridiculously the wait I mean I know they were probably short-handed they seem like they've been short-handed in that restaurant has not run smoothly since they've changed owners they really need some management help over there really bad they really need some management help bad because it falls back on the management or not not being prepared hiring and training the employees and it's an on going process. I know my old man worked in fast food management for years and their services unbelievably ridiculous the wait time is awful. I'm not going to say what restaurant or what a franchise my old man was working for when the pandemic came out with covid and started and everybody had to shut down the lobby of the restaurants and he was only running drive-thru and he had a 24% increase in sales and just had the drive through no indoor service at all everything went through the drive-thru and the company had just started working for this company whenever he started they thought it was crazy how was he doing that a 24% sales increase now only running the drive-thru they'll let you know how fast to drive through moved it never stopped and he had it right it took him about 30 days to get these people up and running right and they were sailing in that restaurant it was awesome and he could do them some justice if he wanted to over there at McDonald's...

I just literally sat in the drive through for 20 minutes trying to place an order. I waited forever to order. Then when the ladies voice called out, I asked for a Bacon, Egg and Cheese biscuit. “We’re our of biscuits,” the cashier replied. I asked if they could make a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese McGriddle. “Hold on and let me see.” It literally took her 5 minutes to come back and respond! “So you wanted a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese McGriddle?” I told her yes, if they had the stuff to make it. I then asked for two Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddles without the cheese. Five minutes later a new voice came from the system welcoming me to McDonald’s and asking what I’d like to order.

It seemed like the cashier got mad for arbitrary reasons. Or just walked off from taking my order (several times). I just wanted a biscuit, lol 😂 then I asked to eat something else as long as they had the necessary ingredients.

After a male voice came through the speaker, I’d given up, having already wasted 20 minutes sitting there for no reason.

McDonald's in Laurinburg, especially at night, is slow, and it takes forever just to order a frappe or a shake. Then they will say sorry the machine is down for cleaning. Ok, it's good that yall clean the machine, but you know morning and night time is when shakes, frappes, and ice coffees are ordered. Why not clean the machine around 3-5am. The food is not even fresh. McDonald's advertisements say made to order ok whatever not in Laurinburg. Maybe breakfast and at the beginning of lunch your order may be fresh & hot but later on on the day and definitely not at night! The only thing I trust are the nuggets after lunchtime. I don't want no hamburger patty that's been cooked all day and re-warmed or sitting in a warmer. Always ask for fresh fries, no salt, then get salt packs when you pull up to the window. Then you know the fries are fresh. McDonald's needs to do better. Most kids love McDonald's, but if you're like me as a parent, the quality of the food & service needs to be fixed. I would rather take my kids and spend my money at zaxbys, Chic fil a, Arby's, and know the food is fresh and the service is...
