Brolly Hut #2 — Restaurant in Lawndale

First time here and the Breakfast Burrito is Great!!

Warning⛔️Long Post…. So let me recap: the review on top is the one I posted about 8 years ago since that day we would come here 3-4 times a week no exaggeration. Food was good and so was the quality and quantity. Would spend anware between $550-$600 a month and if family members came over we would spend more. About a 3-4 months ago we started to notice there price go up drastically then they start changing $1 for Condiments and $1. for the 3 little banana peppers they put in a bag for you. So we mention it to them and one of the works say yeah well you have to talk to management I said ok who is it, oooh there never here (also no email address no contact information absolutely nothing🤦🏽‍♀️) I’ve run businesses and this is not the way to do it… Wait I’m not done yet.. Sorry… So we haven’t been here in a awhile, actually since I was told that about 3-4 months ago… Fast forward my husband says I feel like fries and since there so close let’s go get some fries. They changed us $6. And $.76 for CC for what I ordered was a Large but I promise you what I received was a small. When we ask them they said yeah well that’s the size… I have no idea what’s going on here anymore, Came here for years and absolutely loved the food and service and now both have hit rock bottom. Trust me I understand everyone is going through hard times, but when you keep your customers happy they’ll keep coming back no...

UPDATE: NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME ,I loved this place so much but till 5 days ago I do not . I ordered over the phone when I get there my order is almost ready , and when I hear the cook coughing so bad (nasty cough) and I look over and he's not covering his mouth NOR did he go wash his hands and to top it off the tray he was putting my pancakes in was open while he was coughing I did not take my food and when I requested my refund he got mad saying it was only a cold , TF . I told him he should know better I even asked if he had his food handlers certificate ,because if he did he should know what happens when you are sick and work around food . 🤦

I went here today with a buddy because I am a fan of Brolly Hut #1 on Crenshaw which is an OG soot I grew up on. My friend ordered a burger, I got a 5 wing combo (fries) & a pastrami sandwich just how I like it with extra pickles and mustard.

I started with my sandwich and was immediately disappointed. Minimal flavor, bread was not fresh and just below plain overall, so I ate half and moved on to my wings. They were worse & underwhelming. So I boxed them up to go, and went back to finish the other half of my basic Pastrami sandwich. At least the fries were ok by the decor is old, and misses that classic feel. Needless to say I will be sticking to the OG Brolly but #1 in Inglewood...
