Every time I've gone someone usually says look at the menu we will be right with you. I usually say I know what I want, but bout 5-10 mins later someone will come on the speaker again & say continue to look at the menu & we will be right with you. Usually that goes on 2-4 times b4 you get a hi can I take your order. You order & 97% of the time they give you things you didn't order like I order a # 7 I get to the window & i no how much it should be & I ask why it's so much she's like we'll you also wanted Cole slaw & desert & I'm like when I said a #7 with a Pepsi & that's all I said, oh we heard you say, idc I didn't order that. Or you get your order & your the only person in the drive thru the whole time & it's not even what you ordered. I don't know how many times I've ordered & then I ask to speak to the manager cause they ring me up wrong & gave me a fill up meal instead if the # meal I selected & I would order say a extra side corn & they charged me to much gave me the wrong food & when I speak to the manager the guy fixes the food only but tells me oh it's almost the same price so I'm not going to rering it to give you what you were overcharged oh & you ordered a extra side wait omg she overcharged you on that to. Oh well I guess I'll talk to her. Have a good day here's the right food for you now 45 Minutes after I placed my order. & seeing as the price isn't far off they don't give me what I was overcharged. But this time with the corn I overpaid by about $3. I got mad & asked for the corporate phone # the manager walked away & stood in the back of the kitchen in eye sight of me just talking to the cook looking at me laughing bout 10 mins later he finally sighs cuz he realizes I'm not leaving he comes up & said I don't have the number for you & I said then is there another manager to ask he looks at me & says no I'm the only one here. Read moreI have been to this same location twice and each experience was bad, the second was shockingly terrible. The first was in July of this year when our family (of 5) stopped on our way to South Carolina. We went through the drive through and once on the road realized they had forgot a whole meal. I tried calling 3 times and no one answered. Then I got a vm stating that they were not able to answer because of being understaffed. So, essentially, I let it go because mistakes are made and I wasn't going to be able to repeatedly call.
Well we decided to give it another chance tonight when we were in the area for an event. We went through the drive thru at 9:35. All the lights in the place are on and signs are lit up. Dining room closes at 9 but drive thru is open till 10. No one responded to take our order at the drive thru so we drove around to the window. We could see the workers trying to avoid us seeing them. So my husband parked and went to the window and knocked....repeatedly....so they would know he wasn't leaving until they came to the window. The girl told him they were closed and when he told her it says the drive thru closes at 10, she responded with "oh. Well, we ran out of food". So he asked for corporate's phone number since this was the second incident and the unprofessional behavior. We tried calling and it was not their corporate number. Just someone's cell phone.

Read moreI only come here anytime I'm passing through on I80. The restaurant shares a bathroom with Snappy's so be warned (limited number of stalls)
I've been going here from time to time throughout the years and used to love it when you could also order Pizza Hut & Taco Bell here in the same area as the KFC is. All THREE used to share the same spot. However it definitely was too much for such a small building. I miss it only because the family could go here and each of us could get whatever. It was a treat for sure!
The only downside was service and food preparation. With limited space there was limited room to work on all those different food combinations.
Currently the KFC was good. The 3-piece was fall off the bone done with easy to pull off original crispy chicken skin. They changed the potato recipe and I still don't like it. The biscuit was good, not overly dry like it sat under a hot lamp for hours. The service was as expected, not super slow or super fast.
It definitely feels like they have stepped up their food prep even after they changed to one years ago. The last few times I was here it has been the same. Glad it's the fast food you expect.
