This was my first time at the lawrence location and will most certainly not be my last! I ordered a limited time seasonal burger that had Blue Cheese on it (I had never had blue cheese before and I was feeling adventurous). I took a bite and I immediately realized that I did NOT like blue cheese. (It wasn’t the burger’s fault, it was prepared well and I’m sure someone who liked blue cheese would enjoy it.) I couldn’t stomach more than a bite, but I figured I’d cut my losses: that’s the cost of trying new things and at least I’d learned something new about myself. The manager walked by and noticed my feeble attempt at the burger. He asked if everything was okay and I explained that I had never had blue cheese before and that it wasn’t my thing. He immediately offered to make me a new burger free of charge. It was very gracious of him and wonderful customer service. And might I say, the new burger he brought out was delicious. When I pointed out that our order of tots was only half full, they told me that the amount given in an order is 'pre-measured.' So meaning, if you order a medium, HQ has it pre-measured that you will get half that (only the bottom of the medium cup will be covered, it won't be to the top. pretty much a small). And they also tried to say that some must have fallen out in the bag, RIGHT AFTER I told them we had already checked the bag and NONE. (I say 'we' because both my bf and I checked, so two sets of eyes.) Sounds like you're better off going in. DON'T order ahead, bad experience. Not so much. One of them had mayo on it with all the toppings, one of them was completely plain and only a single patty with cheese, and one of them had mayo and jalapenos on it instead of pickles, gross. My bun was falling apart and I ended up having to use a fork to eat my burger because the bread just disintegrated. For three meals, we paid $34....we could have gone to Five Guys for less or any of the other burger places around town and actually enjoyed our meal.
