Jim's Original Subs & Pizza — Restaurant in Lawrence

This review is mainly for the pizza. I love their pizza but i feel like sometimes they either use different cheese that isnt mozzarella or something, i swear there are times that cheese has no pop and somethings going on cause i aint feeling it. There are days the cheese taste buttery, rich and on point and times where i feel they locked away the magic just to say "Screw you" . There can be a lack of consistency in how thin the pizza is and for some reason the Pizza they make to sell slices tend to come out more ideal than when i order a large and its a big mystery of how thats possible i hope its not a marketing tactic. All this does is make my head spin and makes me want to yell whats going on but thats just not right. Its like man i know its bread and cheese but believe it or not it matters to have it ideal. Maybe send New hired to a 2 week gourmet class to make the pizza thin and idk maybe also if swapping out cheese maybe not do that. Theres just definitely definitely something going on and i know it..could only wish i knew. By the way when i say the pizza tends to come out better when getting slices i mean it , it comes out not over cooked, theres no burn mark and it taste rich and tends to be flat thin and ideal a clean looking slice, there just something going on...

I have always enjoyed this place since I was kid! Their bread so so yummy! Went there not too long ago got a original cold sub, as I was eating it I sat there saying to myself "hm something doesn't taste right." I just brushed it off ignored it. As the night went on my stomach started feeling weird and uncomfortable which lead to me vomiting! I said "I knew that sub didn't taste right!" I am a very open minded person I thought maybe they had a bad night that night or an employee didn't change the meat. So I decided to give it another shot, everyone has bad nights. This was a week later, I get my usual original cold sub....wouldn't you know same nasty taste I stopped eating eating it threw it out got sick again haven't ever gone back since I refuse to ever go back. I didn't bother saying anything because I have tried that before and get attitude as if it's my fault they messed up. It's a bummer they used to be good! Now way too over priced and quality isn't there anymore. I have taken my business elsewhere that it not too...

THE YOUNG LADY WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS ABSOLUTELY RUDE! WHEN I WAS TALKING TO HER ABOUT MY ORDER HER RESPONSE WAS WHATEVER!! I MADE THE TRIP INTO JIM'S AND SHE WAS TOO BUSY BEHIND THE COUNTER COMPLAINING ABOUT MGMNT THEN TO EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME. JIM'S NEEDS TO GET RID OF THE TERRIBLE EMPLOYEE. SHE IS AWFUL, I FINALLY ASKED HER IF SHE WORE GLOVES TO MAKE THE SUBS AND SHE CURSED AT ME IN SPANISH.. QUIETLY BUT I HEARD HER AND I UNDERSTOOD WHAT SHE SAID. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS TREATMENT I RECEIVED.. I MAY EVEN CARRY A SIGN AND STAND OUTSIDE OF JIM'S .
