Ordered a salad from here for pick up. When I got there 15 mins after time, I was told it wasnāt ready yet, even though it was sitting on the counter I later realized. After about 5 mins I ask again and they hand me a bag that was sitting there all along. Upon arriving home I realize my wrap did not have the avocado that I paid extra for. In addition, my salad didnāt have spinach at all, and I requested extra spinach. I was not notified, either by phone or when I arrived at the store, and asked if I wanted lettuce as a replacement instead either. So, Iām very irritated at this point and call the store. I tell the person who answered (it was the manager that saw me pick up my food and was also the person who made it) what happened. He says, āoh, we were out of spinach at that time.ā So I asked why was I not informed when I picked up my food? Can you remake it? He rudely says, āIām not giving you free food. I made it, you can come buy again and Iāll remake it.ā I got very irritated and asked for the manager. He responded he was the manager and his father was the owner. Again, saying Iām not getting free food. I said I donāt want āfree foodā. I want the food I paid for already. Needless to say, he wasnāt trying to hear me and I ended the call. If you place a mobile order, be prepared for them to stop making it every time the next customer walks in to place an order. When you point out how this defeats the purpose of ordering ahead, note how rude they are about it. Then expect them to lie about how "busy" it is and to claim they just received your order (even though it's already partially completed when you walk in). Then they wrongly state that all Subways do it this way (simply not true in my experience). I asked what I did that was so funny. The lady stood there silent with the dumbest smile I've ever seen. The guy she was talking with, I'm guessing her son, said it's because you and everybody coming are using coupons. He decided to tell me he got the same coupons in the mail, but wouldn't use them.
