I'll start by saying, I know that they were only open for less than a month from when I was there, but... it was approximately 7:26pm when we arrived in line. We ordered app. 7:49pm and made it to the window to pay at 8:06pm. We ordered the $50 family meal (+extra) we chose regular chicken strips (16) w/family sz sides of potatoes and gravy, black beans & rice & coleslaw. Shortly after paying, the worker came back to the window and said all they had were 6 hot tenders & reg. wings, insinuating that's what we had to take. I told her we ordered 16 reg. tenders and that my 4&5yo g-kids couldn't eat hot tenders. She proceeded to tell us they closed at 8:00pm and that's all they had. I stated that on their website, it shows they're open until 11:00pm, and she said "I guess you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet." 😳 I then reminded her that our order was placed at 10 till, so you knew what our order was, and her answer to me, the lady in front of you, ordered a lot. Frustrated at this point, I told her I'm not taking the leftovers, you'll have to make 16 fresh reg. tenders. She wasn't happy and trying to deter me , "You'll have to wait 7-8min." By this time, it was app. 8:19pm, at 8:29pm someone came to the window and asked us what we ordered and what our number was, 10min later the original worker came and asked what our number was and could she see our receipt?? At 8:49pm, she came with our order, I asked if everything was fresh (hot) and all there, and she answered yes. I checked anyway. I then asked her if this was a family size coleslaw, and she said yes to which I said, this looks like a single serving. By then, her temper was showing, she wanted to see our receipt again and yelled at a worker to get another single slaw. At 8:56pm, we were on our way. In my opinion, they were very unprofessional for trying to tell us the "leftovers" were what we had to take, as if we had done something wrong. We spent $58.62 and spent more than an hour there, not to mention the sides were unappealing to taste. I WILL NOT eat here again. P.S. Popeyes, you may want to retrain your workers while you're still newly opened, and before the unprofessionalism spreads to other workers. I'm only one person in my family, but after this, you've lost...
Read moreHello,
Today I visited the Lawrenceburg Indiana location with my fiance. We were excited for our meal as this was our “date” for the week. We ordered our food and received it 10 minutes later which wasn’t an issue at all (40$ total) First my fiance was missing his fry, one of the two sides he ordered. My fiancé ordered a large sandwich combo requesting no pickle and received pickles. I went back up to get the fries, he picked the pickles off of his sandwich and we began to eat. I ordered a 5 piece blackened tender meal w/ mashed potatoes. As I ate my first blackened tender I noticed I only had 3/5 that I paid 15$ for. When I went to advise Barbara the general manager with the mustache of the issues we experience she nonchalantly advised they would remake the order but that I was only missing 1 tender because she could see the one I was missing sitting in the fryer. She kept repeating herself like I was a child and wasn’t counting correctly. When Barbara advised her coworker she was going to give me that missing tender he coworker advised that was a chicken tender from the floor and that I was correct. Barbara did not apologize and we waited 15 minutes for our food to be correct. We left our bag on the counter and left we were so mad. This truly left a bad taste in our mouth about this establishment. I called to complain after I left and Barbara proceeded to be nasty and would not give me any contact information to the district manager. Barbara is pictured below with her...
Read moreDear Owner,
Please reevaluate your staff. First and foremost, the lady who took our order was rude. I understand long shifts and even longer hours but we came nowhere close to when you close. The lady asked me to repeat myself over and over even when we came up to the window. We ordered a single tender for our son as well as a #1 for me and some spicy legs for my gf. Upon pulling up to the window to pay, the lady (or man), with dreads, proceeds to say “you can have the tender spicy now or you will have to wait for it to be regular” in a condescending tone. She (he) then proceeded to rudely say, “ok pull up to the second window, you’ll have to wait there then” Our son is two years old! He can’t have spicy things! Why is your staff getting rude and condescending with a simple order?!? Honestly, I would like to know.
After waiting to receive our food we headed back home, upon arriving, we proceeded to open our food up to look at this. Really? Is that worth $29?!?! Look at my sandwich, and look at the tender. I understand restaurants can run out of food but don’t serve crap to people.
Dear owner, we live two mins away and could be regulars but after receiving multiple bad treatment by staff and terrible food, why even try? Would you like us to come back? If so, retrain staff and focus on quality. Quality people, quality food, and a...
