Lincoln's Grill — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

Lincoln's Grill is a very special place. This was our first visit. Service and food, really hit the spot. Our waitress was ever so kind and attentive. She makes an awesome Macchiato!! When it comes to the food, the Chef really deserves an applause, because everything was perfect! We started with the Hummus Platter, and oh my goodness the cucumbers and tomatoes are seasoned perfectly, wow 🤤, then for our entrees we had the Mixed Meat plate, Falafel Doner Kebab with a salad & the Large Doner Kebab with a salad🥙. When I use the words, delicious, neat, clean, heavenly, beautiful presentation, great portions, exquisite, awesome service, well structured, amazing....I'm talking about Lincoln's Grill. When you go into a restaurant and the waitress/hostess makes you feel so invited and then to be served food that has been made with such care and love for what they do...you absolutely taste and feel it. It was, believe it or not that Ratatouille moment, when the food was so amazing it took me back. Desserts are perfect also because it's not extremely sweet, just perfect. If you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, you have to check out this gem. Their outdoor patio is perfect for a sunny day, and the inside is incredibly spacious.

I couldn't resist trying their meat platter to get a true taste of their flavors. I started with the hummus platter – the tomatoes and cucumbers were so fresh and paired perfectly with the grilled pita and creamy hummus. 😋

The meat platter was a flavor explosion! It came with more delicious pita, a tasty salad with fresh olives, sudzukika, cevapi, and a juicy piece of chicken breast. I even tried the fries for future reference – they didn't disappoint! 🍟

I washed it all down with a Fanta Tropical, which I didn't even know existed, but I'm now a big fan. 🥤

Shoutout to my server, Phillip, who was incredibly well-mannered and enthusiastic about my visit. The owner also came out to check on everything – such a pleasant and welcoming touch.

The food is definitely not 5 stars. 🙄 I guess people writing reviews haven't had good food before. I got a lamb/beef gyro and Greek salad. The gyro was alright. Maybe 3 stars. I actually like the Great Wraps one better at the food court. The meat was good, but there was no lettuce. There was only shedded cabbage instead and not many tomatoes at all. It was lacking the fresh taste that gyros are supposed to have from the vegetables. Also, there was very little tzatziki sauce- and it seems there were no cucumbers in the sauce. I also think the cucumbers help the flavor of the sauce because it was kind of bland. The Greek salad was actually bad. I would rate it as one star because I won't eat it. The vegetables are left in huge pieces and drenched in a Greek dressing that's only okay. Too much dressing for sure. They could have put it in a small container on the side. That would have helped. But still- putting half slices of tomato on the salad and whole lettuce leaves does not make for a good salad. Each bite should be nicely balanced with a mixture of...
