Park Avenue Thrift is great. Thursdays are the start to the new week and prices are 2.50 e ery item or bagged items. They have a few items behind the registers that are "cherry picked" and are sold for 5, or 10 dollars each. Things like nicer dresses a few wallets, shoes and designer purses. But the regular rack of purses and shoes still hold many good bags and shoes for 2.50 each. If you get something from behind the register you have to pay for it at that time.

Still groups of folks who grab everything and pile it allover the floors.

But honestly I think the best time to go shop is late Fridays, Saturdays and su days and $1.00 Mondays. Wednesdays everything left is 50 cents each they close at 1pm to get ready for new on Thursday. I still find great stuff with tags on them on Wednesdays !.

They get multiple trucks on Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays that are for the current week. So thats why its better to shop later on than Thursdays. Honestly that is the truth!!

Also there is a Hispanic grocery there that has a little rest inside the best steak tacos in the world around 2.00 each and they are full. Also dollar general is in the shopping center as...

There is always a good time to be had in the square. There are several rooftop places to eat, and the square is full of history . There are a lot of great shops with a whole lot of unique items. There is a florist on the square who will prepare a beautiful bouquet of flowers for you once a month for the low price of $40 for a year. The only catch Is you hae to supply your own vase. If you like designer clothing and shoes but can't stand the price, there is a great little consignment shop on the Square with some fantastic finds. There is an old fashioned comic book store that also sells a great selection of coffee and candy. I think the best of the best place to go on tbe square is Special Kneeds Bakery. You can go there to enjoy some of the best square cupcakes in the world, while supporting people with special needs in the process. You can enjoy white chocolate covered popcorn, shakes and a wide selection of other goodies too. You can choose to eat in or the staff wull package your goodies in a cute little pink box and tie it with a ribbon and bow. So ,I went to Park avenue thrift store!!! It was 75c per item and they have these bags they put several items in and sell the bags for 75c! I bought several bags full of great things !! Oh I couldn't wait to get home and see what treasures I had gotten! I got a lot of groovy things !! I even got some fine china and when I looked it up,it was worth like way more than 75c!! Oh and let me tell about the lady's that run the place in Lawrenceville Georgia, they are super sweethearts, they are very friendly and fun!! They always have a beautiful smile on their faces!! & They are very hard workers !!
