I came here before with my family a few weeks ago and the service was great.

Today not so much.

I walked in ALONE ready to order. I already knew what I wanted. A large group that was sitting at the table was still debating on what to eat. When I approached the register to take my place in line-immediately one of the members of that group jumped up ready to stand in line. But he was still getting orders from his party but felt he needed to go first. I guess the owner felt that same way too because when it was my turn he looked at me and told me he was going to take his 8 orders instead. I was surprised and so was the man’s expression but still proceeded to start his order which he still wasn’t sure of. It was such a turnoff and after a few seconds I decided this establishment would be crossed off my list and walked out.

I went with a friend and both of our choices were just ok. I believe she got the gyro wrap, and I got the chicken shawarma platter -- both of meats were underseasoned, and my shawarma was cold and dry. Her fries were just ok, not particularly crispy or well seasoned.

On my platter, the jerusalem and toulini salad were ok, probably would've been complimented better by some rice or if the shawarma was more flavorful. The only thing I would say was really good was the pita bread -- it was warm and really nice, paired well with the hummus too!

Overall, it was a lackluster experience; we came based on the high ratings but were pretty disappointed. We sat outside because although there's indoor seating, the inside of the store is quite dark and smells...

So my husband and I was in the area and decided to try it out. Omg I'm so glad we did ! It's family owned and when we walked in everyone turned around and spoke. They were kind and patient as I looked over the menue. My husband was just speaking about how these restaurants don't cook with love anymore, but this place showed us differently! I ordered something simple , the gyro and baklava! The meat and veggies was fresh and moist with the homemade sauce. Didn't get a chance to take pictures because we ate it so fast lol.

But the baklava was the BEST IVE EVER HAD AND IVE HAD PLENTY FROM ALL OVER! It was light, flaky and buttery not to heavy ! It was nicely balanced! You can tell it was made fresh daily! Welp we have found a knew spot to...
