Read moreI called my order in at 2:20pm. First I get interrupted by the lady on the other end to hold that she needs to get the manager to fix my order...which I hadn't finished giving her. I waited on hold for a good 3 minutes before some guy picked up the phone and took my order. He informed me that it would take 15 minutes which was fine with me as I was still waiting to clock out from work. I arrive at Riverside Pizza at around 2:45, pay for my food....and wait. As I am waiting I see the guy who I assume was the manager handling his phone and food with ungloved hands. I see the kid in the back who looks like he is making pizza dough look at his phone every 2 minutes. As I finally am handed my pizzas and salad I see the clock over the drive thru window turn to 3:18. I think that maybe everyone working is new employees and I cut a little slack for the lengthy wait on my order. I get home and as I open up my Papa Pan pizza I see ladles full of sauces splashed all over the pizza. Not the ordinary amount that I have had many times before. This was easy to over look as I don't mind there pizza sauce. I proceed to take my first bite of pie just to find out that my pizza, which I stood for a half hour waiting for was raw in the center. I am a big fan of Riverside Pizza, but I will bypass the one on Sugarloaf Parkway from now on as they have become a disappointment. Next time I get in the mood for one of their pies I will go to the one on Riverside Drive. There is never an excuse to mess up something as easy to...
Read moreFrom the first time that my family and I visited Riverside pizza we all agreed that the pizza and customer service was excellent. So it became our go to pizza store. However, over the past few months the level of service has dramatically declined. The food is still good but the service is not. Our go to store was Riverside drive. I no longer visit Riverside because the employees appear to be untrained in the importance of food safety, how to correctly wash hands, wear gloves, not talking over the customer's food. As I stated in the opening my family loved Riverside Pizza so I decided to try the Sugarloaf store. At Sugarloaf we had delivery not the in-store experience and delivery was good the driver was polite and courteous. However, when I visited the store I witnessed what appeared to be a manager preparing food with no gloves and eating from the toppings bin. If that was not enough the employee who was waiting for my pizza to exit the oven dropped the utensil picked it up and continue to play with it. I had to asked him to wash it. His response was to rinse it with no soap. So a second time I asked him to wash it with soap and he did. My point is he didn't understand or care about food safety. Finally, I recall having a good pick-up experience at the Grayson store. In the future if I can convince myself to buy Riverside pizza I will...
