My recent visit to Frontera Mex-Mex Grill was nothing short of fantastic, and it brought back fond memories of my childhood. This restaurant has stood the test of time, and I am thrilled to see that the same friendly faces are still working there, maintaining the warm and inviting atmosphere that has kept me coming back over the years.

We had called just 10 minutes ahead to make a reservation for a group of 15 people, and to my surprise, they went above and beyond to create a private dining space for us. This level of accommodation showed a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, and it made our gathering all the more special.

The private dining space proved to be a blessing, especially with toddlers in our group. The little ones were able to play and enjoy themselves without disrupting other diners. The food was simply delightful. The authentic Mexican flavors and the wide variety of dishes catered to all tastes, making it a wonderful experience for everyone in our group. We had a long day and decided to go out for dinner. I was surprised to find the restaurant nearly empty during dinner time. Still, the food didn’t disappoint. The cheese dip was excellent, and the roasted salsa had good flavor—although I personally prefer the regular one. The regular salsa was very tasty; if it were a bit chunkier, it would’ve been perfect.

Hans ordered chicken enchiladas with salsa verde. I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga, which came with beans and rice. I also asked for a side of guacamole, which turned out to be delicious. I’m usually very picky about my rice and beans; these ones were perfect for me. Also, the portion was huge; I actually got three meals out of it! I have not seen a serving like that in 15 years.

For drinks, we tried both the regular margarita and the Rancho margarita. They were both really good, but my husband preferred the Rancho. I kept the milder one.

Our waitress was wonderful—very attentive and genuinely sweet. She checked on us often without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude really added to the experience and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down.

1-Silverware dirty, 2-chairs filthy,3- booths dirty , 4- substance in my son’s glass , 5- Food cold. 5 issues going on. We couldn’t find a clean place to sit. Once we did the food was cold and rude staff. Food server tried to reach over me with an hot plate. I told him not to and he gave me a crazy look !! That’s common sense !! Heck no !! Our food was absolutely horrible. I had to speak to the manager.to get it corrected. She did take my plate and gave me fresh food I stopped going to this location years ago because I felt they were a bit racist there. I’m just being honest !!! Today, hmm. Based on chip server and food server. I don’t think I am wrong. The food server slammed my plate down. Welp, I won’t ever be back to this location ever again !!!

I been a Frontera fan for over 20 yrs. My son’s are Frontera fans since they were 9 & 10 yrs old .We knew all the managers . They all know me and know the type of person that I am. I was going to just leave this location , but the female manager corrected the issue. I do appreciate her. They could do better at...
