Arby's — Restaurant in Lawton

I do not recommend this location in Lawton. I have never dined in here until tonight. The cashier was very short with us for not immediately having our minds made up about our order as soon as we walked up, but I decided it has probably been a long day and let it go. I decided to make a 2nd order with extra cheese on my sandwich with a different crew member about 20 minutes after my first order. I received my sandwich with normal cheese and went back up to the counter. The young man at the counter scrambled trying to find an employee to help because they were no where to be seen. He came back with the same cashier we had the 1st time and she was very rude with the employee in front of me and scolded him for taking the sandwich back. She also then told him it was a health code violation and he seemed very confused. I noticed at that very moment a pack of cigarettes on the counter beside where the young man had just placed the incorrect sandwich. Without telling him what to do with it she instead griped about having to remake the sandwich. After I realized that yet again the sandwich didn't get extra cheese she put it in a cup and agressively slid it on the counter. She proceeded to rudely tell me that next time I need to order extra cheese and that it was .75 cents. I said I did order extra cheese and she argued with me and said I didn't and I let her know I didn't appreciate her being rude with me that I did make a second order and she told me to have a blessed night. I will never go back to this location. If you can't handle people making mistakes or having a customer service job in general then get a different job. I asked the nice young man her name before I left and he said Shea. I hope someone properly trains him because he was more customer service minded. As a once proud, die-hard arbys fan i did not mind paying a little bit extra for the sandwiches. Knowing that potato cakes was a choice which made them more unique than other fast food restaurants that had just fries and hamburgers. But when they first discontinue I was highly upset and refused to go back. It has been years since I've had one of their sandwiches only to look up a little over a month ago to see the sign. Say potato cakes are back.Well, decided I had to go and have one. And it was just like I remembered, so today I decided to go back in have another only to find out.They have discontinued potato cakes once again. Save your money and time and go to the Arbies cache road. This place doesn’t do anything right. Not to mention they have the reputation of McDonalds in terms of their shake machine being functional. This is the 4th time I’ve come here and their machine has been down. As I said before go to the arbies on cache. Way better quality and their stuff works. Also their faster considering the entire time I wrote this review, this one car has been sitting here for 10 minutes. Insane how far this place has fallen. And now we have to wait.
