My family and I have been going to the NEW Braums on Sheridan Road since it opened. We had assumed it would be lovely since the closest one, next to the smoke shop, had closed. We were excited to have our favorite fast food place close by again. I will be honest and say that upon its first opening, it stayed full and the food/customer service was lovely… but eventually turned garbage from the place itself to cooperate. Horrible. The main issue was getting things like ice cream and shakes melted. They would giggle and laugh during their shift, only to end up handing out incorrect food. Over time, my family and I would come back with the mindset of “Hey, maybe next time is better.” It only got worse. One night, we went to this very location and waited in line as we saw the lights on inside, only to pull around, let down. No.. the employees walked out as their line was full of customers. They were all going home and didn't bother to even leave a sign or let the rest of us know they were leaving. Maybe it was overreacting, but that's quite rude. They even seemed to laugh about it as they were leaving, too. My family and stayed away for a bit but decided one day. “Hey, its been a minute.. Maybe they’ll come around.” Once again.. We are let down.. Entirely. We had ordered three #8’s that were crispy clubs. We pull to the first window, pay.. And things are fine. We get to the second window, and a lady just pops out and says, “Hey, do you want two spicy ones since they are down or do you want the regulars?” Well, we’d want what we asked for.. So, of course, we told her no and that we wanted what we ordered. KEEP THAT IN MIND. She said okay and made us pull up to the door to wait. That’s fine.. It happens. So we get our food and make sure everything is in the bag. We pull up to a place to eat, and mind you, these chicken sandwiches are going to kids. They dig in and their spicy.. The kids said, “Did they put too much pepper on them?” No.. they don't use pepper from what I recall,l and it shouldn't be mouth-watering spicy. It was infuriating because we asked for something specific, and as a worker, you even confirmed with us what we wanted. So we called up the place and told them about what happened, then just asked for the number to cooperate, as this was far too much. Funny enough, the person who answered the phone was the lady from the window. She explained to us that it was a mistake and that she would replace the entire meal. We were long gone and had other things to do so she said in her own words, “I will write your name down in the book, and well will replace the full meals,” and she gave us her name. Okay great. Settled.. But no. We come back a few days later to get the said replacement meals. Receipt and all are ready. We told the person on the intercom about what happened, and told her what needed to be done and that the name would be written in the book. So the person on the intercom tells us that the girl from a few days ago isn't in and that our names weren’t even written in the book as told. So, of course.. Were enraged. So this is one too many times they aren’t doing their job. We once again asked for the number to cooperate.. And still they told us, “They don’t know.” Okay. fine. We decided to look it up and call ourselves. We give the person our statement and the location where it took place. The cooperate lady says that she will make sure to contact the area manager and let them know. We gave our name and number to the lady. She also told us they would call back. News flash, they didn't. Some days passed and we decided to call the cooperate number and ask about what was meant to happen. Days passed and no call. This time we speak to a different representative.. And it turns out the first corporate worker didn't do their job either. So the second one proceeds to ask us what happened.. Weird considering this statement was already made, and numbers were given. We realized that the first one wasn't recorded. EVEN AFTER SHE SAID SHE TOOK NOTE AND WAS MEANT TO TELL THE AREA...
Read moreI feel this location could be the best in town especially w/ the amount of foot traffic they recieve in this specific area. However, the lack of cleanliness and organization is definitely apparent. Would like to see much needed changes and improvements in workstation cleanliness. During my recent visit, I was tempted to walk out after watching a strangers sundae being made. The sloppiness, the lack of care w/ presentation and just overall care for the food, treats and drinks being prepared is and was incredibly disturbing to say the least. The way the workers carry themselves or should I say drag themselves through a task is astounding. The concept of "clean as you go," doesn't seem to exist, especially at this specific location just as the location on Cache Rd. near China Wok Express here in town. The customer service here and just a more pleasant vibe w/ some personal interactions between workers and customers is definitely needed at all locations here in Lawton, OK. It would be nice to be greeted w/ a simple smile, positive energy and welcoming attitude and not by someone who is literally dragging themselves from one task to another with no pride or enthusiasm. The must have attentiveness and esthetically pleasing atmosphere to include while food, frozen treats and drinks would help this place thrive. This specific Braum's and it's location alone should honestly be the best in town. With the many simple adjustments the potential of extreme success is w/ out question. They just need to be adressed from the working staff attitudes and presentation to the cleanliness and care for the establishment, products and especially the customers. These visible issues need to be immediately addressed, new higher standards need to be implemented and consistently performed w/ the upmost respect, positive energy, vibe, and care for this brand, and it's customers here and at ALL BRAUM'S world wide. CHANGE IS NEEDED! CUSTOMER CARE, SERVICE AND APPRECIATION WILL GIVE THE WORKING STAFF SOMETHING TO BE PROUD ABOUT AND MAKE THEIR WORK DAY MUCH MORE REWARDING!...
Read moreNew store and it's already disappointing. I'm not from this town, but why is it at both locations I have to wait over 10 minutes for shakes? And while with that I get forgotten. Me and my boyfriend had a great day today but of course it gets ruined by this experience. Ordered a medium mint chocolate shake and a large vanilla shake. When we got to the 2nd window we immediately get told to pull around to the door. After a bit a kid comes out with one of our shakes, and of course it's sticky and spilling out the top and sides. He leaves as he says the next one is coming out. I'm just sitting there and a worker asks why I'm parked by the door and I responded with waiting on my shake. Customers proceed to come out the door next to the kitchen and celebrate a workers birthday. I get you can still have fun at work and celebrate birthdays but completely ignoring a waiting customer and throwing some celebration at the back door isn't professional. They're too busy celebrating someone's birthday to get orders out. Another worker eventually comes out and gives me my shake sopping wet with no straw. So then again I wait for a straw that should've been given to me with.. my shake. I've worked fast food and I considered applying here. I'm glad I haven't because I would be agitated with this work environment. You can't take a second to make sure you don't overfill the cup and clean the sides? It's pure laziness and the lack of leadership this location has will only plummet the sales. The manager working tonight should be embarassed for this shift and needs to be re-trained if you don't know how to get orders out and how to control your team. Never...
