I arrived at Qdoba on the 6th of December on Friday morning at 1030am. I nearly left because the open sign had yet to be turned on. At 1032 the open sign is bright and welcoming. I walk in, I am welcomed by an employee that invites me to Qdoba, he was very welcoming. Then I am welcomed by the young lady who is going to prepare my meal. I explain what I want and she is delighted to oblige. We have a few laughs and she is also very inviting. I get to the checkout portion. There is an older lady who seems to possibly be the manager. She asks the young lady who prepared my order, “is that all he’s getting” as if I am not standing right in front of her, while she is on the phone. I am assuming that she is going to cash me out being that she is asking this somewhat ominous question, but she did not. I waited for another young lady who did not seem as if she wanted to be there. She has lots of tattoos and I thought they were great. However, she asked in a very quiet and almost ‘I am over this’ tone “is this it” I say yes. She prepares a bag of chips to go. She asks in the same tone if I want the receipt, I say no thank you (I am maintaining an upbeat demeanor but it seems to be - pointless). I pay for my meal and she says nothing and simply walks away. Not a word. She walks away and the entire time the manager I am assuming is the manager is still walking around, still, chatting on the phone. This was the worst visit I’ve ever had to this location. I don’t plan on returning for quite sometime. I do not appreciate being treating less than the way that I treat others. I work in HR, I do know a little about customer service. The only reason I gave this location a two rating is because of the two initial employees. If it had not been for these two employees (I wish I had gotten their names) I would have walked out, left the food, and would not have paid for anything. Moreover, the chips that were given to me were stale and cold. I am assuming Thursday’s chips. At least make sure the chips are reheated if that’s what you all...
Read moreI'm a regular customer of the Lawton (and other) locations. Thursday, August 23, was the worst Lawton location experience I've had. I have never felt less welcome in any restaurant.
My wife and I entered the Lawton location around 9:25pm, knowing we had plenty of time to eat before the 10pm closing.
Upon entering, ALL chairs were placed upside down on the tables in preparation for mopping and closing. We we're not given the option of dining in or takeout, our food was automatically prepared to go - as if this were a food truck. Several items were out of stock and we were told they were unavailable. We were not offered drinks, not even to-go drinks.
The girl who made our food, although polite, was obviously already mentally clocked out, as she could remember nothing about the two burritos she had just assembled when she attempted to record the information in the cash register.
The one other employee was busy pouring large buckets of water on the floor in preparation for mopping. We felt in the way.
We walked out of the building at 9:34 feeling insulted and dismissed because we interrupted their closing chores and end-of-day routine.
BAD experience. If you're hungry for Qdoba, go at lunchtime when you have strength in numbers of other customers. You won't feel valued or welcome in...
Read moreI came to this site due to having a couple items missing from my order. Phoning in my problem I spoke with the owner then the manager, both wanting to make my order complete. After arriving back at Qdoba's I noticed the owner cleaning the dining area, keeping aware of all aspects of his business. A handshake and apology by him and the young lady who checked me out previously I left with good thoughts on my drive home. I could have not bothered phoning or driving back but I really like their food and wouldn't have bothered if it was another somewhat similar place but when you see the grill covered with quality meat and fresh peppers etc. you know every menu item is going to be fresh, flavorful and lots of it. The burritos so huge it's hard to roll them up, you see the food, it's not hidden in the back and you choose all you desire thats full of so much great flavor. I wish the best for this owner as he cares about his customers and his business, I so hope he knows how much we appreciate him taking on such a challenge giving our town a great place to get terrific food. Be sure and thank him for what he is...
