This location is very dark, the sign is so dim. It’s on a back road so you almost would miss it but DQ has good ice cream. But I’m not leaving this review because it’s a dark location I’m leaving this because I’d never go back to this location. I have it two stars only because Andrew the manager was nice and easy to work with and again I like their ice cream. My husband went to get us some blizzard’s and when he got home and we took the kids off they were made completely wrong. He ordered a Oreo brownie blizzard and got just an Oreo ice cream. We called and spoke to Andrew and he apologized and said please come in and get new ones on us. I thanked him and we went back the next evening. Andrew had told me to just let them know when I come in that he said they would re make them on him. So we did just that, the following evening we went in and told the girl “Hi, Andrew told us we can get new blizzards on him because ours were made wrong. I said I spoke to him on the phone and he assured me that there would be no problem. She asked me did he give you a note? I said if he wrote one for you guys I’m unsure but I spoke to him on the phone. She said umm well do you have a coupon? I said again I spoke to him on the phone. She then says what do you want to order so we re ordered the same thing we got the night before. She said well Andrew isn’t he did he give you a note? ………No! So she gets her Manager on duty and then the same thing happens. Did he leave a note? Give me a note? A coupon? So I explained it again and she said ok. She asked what flavors we wanted so we repeated our order and she walks away. 20mins goes by and the first girl comes back and says can I help you? What are you waiting for? We said two blizzards and she says ohh hmm? We eventually got them, but this was absolutely ridiculous. They were rude and giving us attitude and took forever. Clearly there is a lack of communication in the work place and they feel they can make food or blizzards missing ingredients. This first girl had no problem solving skills and either did her manager on duty. There was no communication between us and her after she walked away. I ordered a customized cake for my son's birthday last month. Ordered it 2 days prior to pick up as suggested. The cake I ordered is already in their menu which is the Oreo cake. I just needed the the custom picture and writing in it. Come pick up day, I got there 10 minutes later than my pick up time because I thought it would be ready by then. It wasn't. The crew that was at the front told me they are just finishing it up and to wait for a few mins. 10 mins later, another crew came up and tells me they're troubleshooting the printer and to wait a few mins. I told them I need to go because the party will start soon. Few more mins later I told them I cannot wait anymore and they can just write happy birthday to it. Pick up time of cake 1030am, I didn't leave the store til past 11am. Party was 1130 and I had to go pick up my kids and take to the place. We were late from the party and guests were already waiting. Your crew could have told me when I got there that your printer is not working. Or they could have told me the day before! Why would I even order 2 days prior if you're only making them the day of, that excuse is BS! Not only did this disaster of a cake made my child sad he didn't get his cake, but it was embarrassing for our guests that we were late because I waited for freaking 30 mins for a cake that should have been ready. A kid named Asher, with green hair took our order. He was looking down the entire time and when I told him the last thing I wanted he never said anything else. Never said a price, just sat and looked down. I finally had to say is that all ? And he said “you can pay whenever you want“.
Can you guys hire people that know how to speak? People that know how to interact with human beings?
Also, the same kid grabbed what seem to be a dirty rag off of the floor And was wiping off the counters with it and then proceeded to start making people’s shakes and everything. He kept touching his hair and touching the rag and then he would touch the rim of the cup many times that he was gonna be putting ice cream inside of. While we were waiting and watching him make our order, we saw a gentleman come in and sat at the counter for about five minutes. Nobody came and talked to him and he eventually left.
I’m really hoping the manager can see this and understand that you can’t just hire human beings that have a heartbeat to come and occupy a job. You should hire people that can do the job right and make the customer experience absolutely amazing! This was the opposite of that. We will not be...
